Is this the company that sells the instant coffee mix in the bags? I used to by it at Wright County Swappers meet and can't find it anywhere. It says the Facebook page is down as well. Super bummed if they no longer make it.
So sad to write this. Loved visiting her at the fair for some samples and pick me up. Used to buy as much as I could carry during multiple fair trips. Have ordered from her before online without any issues. I never thought to look at reviews. Ordered again in May. She took my money and sent me nothing. And, has ignored 4 emails from me and 2 letters from the BBB. I even said in my letters I'm OK with a COVID delay - just let me know. I don't actually like coffee - but I loved this stuff and really wanted more now that I'm working from home. What a great afternoon treat. Oh well, I'll find something else.
I recently ordered 12 packages. I got an extra flavor I didn't order and was short on a flavor I ordered. On 3 different occasions I tried to contact the company through calling and e-mails. They never got back to me or tried to correct their error. Customer Service clearly is not a priority for this company. Just look at all the other reviews. I like the products, but customer service is key to keeping those customers coming back to purchase those products. I won't be ordering again, this experience was very disappointing to say the least.
I love this coffee. But as other reviewers mentioned, customer service is just as important as the product itself. First, to review customer service: I had sent them an email telling them how much I love their product, they responded that same day thanking me for reaching out to them. Then I ordered more coffee. I waited about a week and received an email from the shipping company saying my package was scheduled to ship. Weeks passed, I sent several emails asking about my order with no response. After about 6 weeks, I got another email saying my package was scheduled to ship. This time the tracking number actually worked. I finally received the package... no email back, no sorry, nothing. All that and they still charge $7 to ship it. The coffee however is really good, my favorite flavors are mocha and english toffee. I like to mix them with a cup of hot coffee instead of hot water. They taste too weak with just water.
I bought two bags (Vanilla Caramel and Raspberry Truffle) at the Washington County Fair 8/2014. I had put them in a kitchen drawer and pretty much forgot about them. Occasionally, I would make myself a cup of the Vanilla Caramel, which is pretty good. Recently I started making a cup most days and finished off the Vanilla Caramel. I just opened the Raspberry Truffle and it's also quite good. I googled the company today to see if there was a store where I could buy more or if it was strictly online ordering. I was surprised to see that the overall rating was barely two stars. I read all the reviews and the problem isn't with the coffee itself but with extremely poor customer service. I would give it five stars just on the flavor. However, customer service is just as important as product quality. Although I haven't experienced poor customer service because I haven't placed an online order, the many bad reviews give me pause. I went to the company's website and one can order directly from the company (which appears to be what the folks who had customer service issues did) or from Amazon. I just went on Amazon and did a search for Coffee Queen coffee and there were no results for that. I'm guessing that if people ordered through Amazon the vendor failed to fill the orders timely and Amazon will no longer let it list its products. If anyone still hasn't gotten their money back, I would suggest doing as one person planned--file a complaint with the MN Attorney General (as well as the BBB). I guess once my Raspberry Truffle is used up, I won't be getting any more coffee from the Queen.
I was unable to reach her at first... but with a little perseverance I got my product which I LOVE!!!
I've changed my review from one star to three because the coffee I ordered actually showed up. In the day and age of Amazon Prime and other delivery services, nobody expects something you've ordered online to take one month to come, but that was the case with my order. That being said, the product is great, I really love the flavors and ease of making Coffee Queen coffee. If they can get their communication system down better and fill order more quickly, they would be a golden company. Will I buy from them online again? Only time will tell, it's so good that I probably will. But next time I'll know to give them more time to deliver the package.
I too am very sad to place this review! I love this coffee but best place to order currently as far as I know is in person! I am local and wanted to go to they place in Stacy to pick up I’ve called and emailed and no reply. Sad to see all the other reviews also
I recently gave this company a 1 star review because I was having issues with them as well. I ordered a dozen bags online and did not hear anything at all from them for a week. I was just about to dispute the charges with my bank when I finally got a notification that my packages had been shipped. They arrived a few days later and I got exactly what I ordered, and the quality is still as good as I remember. So I'm changing my review from 1 star to 4 stars. The product is still excellent, they just have to do a little bit better on communication. I would have had no problem waiting for 2 weeks before it shipped out, so long as I got some sort of email explaining that it will be sent ASAP.
Read the reviews before placing an online order, I unfortunately did not. I placed an order, got confirmation and charged...but it has not shipped. Sent several emails, no response. Tried calling, voicemail full. I will now go and dispute the charge with my CC company and file a complaint with the BBB.
I placed a order on December 28, 2018. Received email that shipping took place 2 weeks later. As of today (1/25/2019), package has NOT arrived. Sent several emails - no response. Called, mailbox full. I want a refund today.
Like many others, I bought this from the State Fair. Ordered online and never received the order. 100% NO COMMUNICATION. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
Very disappointed because the coffee is good. I saw reviews about customers placing orders and never receiving the product. So I attempted contact several times to ensure the company was still in business before I placed an order - no response. I saw the booth at the MN State Fair in August 2018 and told the worker (who said she was the owner's daughter) that I emailed but never heard back. She said her mom had a difficult past year and they contemplated closing the business, but have decided to keep it open. I asked how to order products, and she directed me to the website and said to give them a few weeks when state fairs are over. Unfortunately from recent Google reviews it appears they're still unresponsive and aren't fulfilling the orders people have paid for. The website and Facebook page are very outdated, but the owner is active on her personal Facebook page... interesting .
I ordered 11 amaretto coffee and it is not what I ordered. It tastes terrible and it smells like cherry. I don't want my money back, but I would like to exchange it for the vanilla caramel. I have sent emails and have called a couple of times, but nobody gets back to me. And I Love the coffee
Like many other customers who are waiting for their online orders, I placed my order on 8/7 and still haven't received it despite sending several emails and calls with no response. I filed a dispute with my credit card company so hopefully this issue will be resolved. Edit: I finally got my order after filing a dispute with my credit card company. For those who are still waiting for their orders, maybe you could try doing that.
I have emailed several times, no response. I ordered a dozen and you took my money in October on the 22nd. A shipping label was generated Oct 27, but my coffee has never shipped! Hopefully you are just busy. If I’m not going to get my order this week, please refund my money.
Amazing instant coffee got at rennisance festival. Once I ran out had to hunt some more down
I placed an order 6 weeks ago and still have not received my product. I have ordered 3 times before a d sa.e thing has happened. I love this product but the customer service is less than desirable. I will not order again. I have tried contacting them twice and get no response.
Placed an order on 9/2/18 and still have not received but they took the money. A shipping confirmation email was sent the end of September but there was no tracking and I still have not received anything. They've not replied to any emails and their phone is busy. They're a terrible company.
Sadly, I’m repeating the same as others before. Ordered my coffee a month ago now, and my e-mails and phone calls have gone unanswered. I’m not sure what’s going on, as I’m out of state, but I do know I’m going to have to give up and attempt to retrieve my money from the purchase. I would advise strongly against ordering anything from this company. And it saddens me to say this, as when I purchased a bag of coffee at a state fair, it was amazing! But with the combination of poor customer service and absolutely zero contact, I would not make a purchase from them again, even if it was in person.
