Great breakfast place with yummy homemade treats, huge fluffy pancakes and lots of coffee options.
If you’re in New Prague, make a point of eating here. There’s a reason for their great reviews. The food is just plain delicious, the service is terrific and the prices are fair. Order some coffee and be patient while they whip up a FANTASTIC breakfast for you. New Prague is a beautiful little town and we agreed that we’d go back on a weekend just to have breakfast here again!
The best food that I've had in a long time.
This is breakfast/brunch hotspot is a must visit. The food was delicious and all home made. The service was cheerful and inviting. The meats are wonderful the Czech dishes really delicious. It is worth whatever wait there is.

For some reason, finding a good diner is harder than it needs to be. Stumbled into Ettlins today and it definitely qualifies as a find, but in all the right ways. The staff hustled, the food made from scratch (which the staff and a sign took care to advise meant meals took a little more time to make, which was a fair heads up), the meals were excellent, the coffee likewise excellent (try the Honeybee coffee, which is saying something because I normally just like my coffee black), etc. One of our party has to be gluten free, and Ettlins completely took care of it with an omlet that was very, very good.. We will definitely be back as they've earned the business.
To the "Karen" that complained about the snarky service last week @ Ettlin's. My son and I were enjoying a nice breakfast until we heard you barking orders from the next booth over looking for your fruit cup. Did it dawn on you that your server was on a scooter serving you with a bum foot? Did you consider that she maybe had to make more than one trip to your table to deliver your food. Perhaps you might be treated better if you showed a little respect & compassion towards the staff. My son drives from Mankato to meet me at the BEST breakfast spot around. The food is outstanding and the service is top notch @ Ettlin's. I have been in the service industry for years too and every experience has been a great experience for us @ Ettlin's and we will continue to be frequent guests. Keep up the great work Ettlin's!
Ettlins is like a cozy cafe. I had lunch there with a friend recently and both the food and the service were great! I highly recommend the turkey on cranberry wild rice bread. It was fabulous!

Ettlins is my favorite breakfast place to enjoy. Everything is homemade and taste delicious. The staff is always friendly and even though the weekends are busier with wait times I promise it’s worth it 😁
So I have eaten here many times. Never an issue with the food. Always very good. But the lack of friendliness the waitresses have is beyond belief. I work in the food industry and there is no way I would treat my customers the way they do. Just really snark and unpleasant. Always have a smart comeback. I am going to avoid this place in the future an embarrassment to out of town family
Wonderful Breakfast All Day Place. Delicious variety, Featuring so many options. Offering Czech, Bavarian and fresh made Kolackys. Best homemade foods. Breakfast and so much more.

Breakfast was delicious, the pancake was the best I’ve ever had. Super cute, quaint little cafe with very kind waitstaff.
Nice small-town experience, I've never had a bad time here, and everything is made in house so it's very fresh, very delicious every time!
Great food, but a little expensive
Delicious breakfast fair and wonderful service. It is definitely popular amongst the older community and farmers in the area. The French toast is to die for! I love a good brunch and this one is worth taking a drive out to.
I've been here a ton of times and the food and service has almost always been amazing! Only one time was it not so good but hey, nobody's perfect! Needless to say I go here whenever I can and I've been on a scotch egg kick lately.
I truly enjoyed going here. The friendliness was very becoming for New Prague. Had a Chec breakfast and a couple beverages. The homemade authentic food was worth the wait. I world recommend this to anybody who has time to wait. It is a full establishment on the way of patrons. Make sure you're entire party walks in at the same time, or you won't get seated.
