BEST RASPBERRY SCONES 😋 ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE HOT VANILLA WHITE MOCHA WITH EXTRA SHOT OF ESPRESSO
Came here this morning (early) to meet with with a long time friend. We used to come here many years ago to meet up, and do gatherings in their private room early mornings too. Ordering our morning drinks went smooth, and service was quick. We wanted to catch up in private, but noticed the paper on the doors stating 'reservations only'. We were the only customers there at the time, so we thought to ask if we could use the room. The kid behind the counter said no we couldn't. We have to make a reservation, and I asked if we had to pay to use the room - which he says we do. Smh... Only customers this morning, and you have to pay to reserve the room now? Shrugged it off, and just said whatever to that. Things changed much after COVID, but it is what it is. Still enjoyed the drinks, and the conversations held there. Maybe next time, I'll have to pay and reserve that room just to meet in private.
2nd time in a row, my adult son and I have been to this Caribou off White Bear Ave & Cty Rd D, off 694, and for the 2nd time we have had to wait more than 15 minutes for 2 sandwiches to be heated up! If you walk in to order, you better be prepared to wait a while because the only customers that matter are the drive-thru customers. I was standing there being ignored even after one of the baristas made eye contact until I apparently looked annoyed enough for someone to ask me what we were waiting for. There were 6 people back there working on drive-thru orders with 2 inside customers standing around. Like I said, this was the 2nd time in a row. I guess we will have to go to a different location to see if the inside customer service is any better or we will just Ave to frequent a competitor coffee shop.
The drink was made correctly. The cup was a bit sticky.
This store rocked it. Good customer service helped us as soon as we walked in and got us our drinks at a good time
Comfortable environment. Friendly service. Great space to meet up with friends and order coffee.
Maybe because I'm old. Maybe because I use a walker. For whatever reason MEAGHAN, their star employee, comped me for my coffee and coffee cake. I'm very grateful.
They didn't have half the caribou menu and none of the food or breakfast sandwiches and they should have posted it on the outside or the door and you can't use or add caribou points there..its ridiculous and the staff messed up my order and said he couldn't fix it.
Very understaffed. Expect a 15-20 minute wait for a single drink during a busy time (ex. Friday morning).
Comfy spot for a cup of coffee and some reading. Never too busy and always a good seat somewhere to plant yourself for an hour or two.
The staff is amazing! My favorite drink is always made with love and care! ( XL cold press, white chocolate, half and half, malt). They always blend it so there are no chunks of malt! I always feel special when I go there, they recognize my order and me when I go. It reminds me of my small town in Wisconsin where everyone knows your name!! Thank you Caribou staff for always making my day!
I bought 2 cups of coffee at this caribou location on 1/13/2023 at around 2:00PM. They ask for a tip which is my first time they asking for a tip. I didn't give any tip so the lady who served me the coffee was not so happy. She didn't put on the hot coffee cup sleeves fo t my cups. The hot coffee up burn my hands that I had to put them back to the table. I will never come back to this place.
Very nice coffee house only had one problem customer service was kind of slow and the price for a medium black coffee is ridiculous...
I'm a hard-core bou fan and will not drink Starbucks swill. Visited yesterday and the line was long in the drive through so just did a mobile order while waiting on the line to move. Finally got through the line and received a sad poorly blended Vanilla Cooler that was separating and far from delicious. Attempted to ask the employee if the very cute caribou hoodie they had on was available for purchase but they had the window closed and walked away before I could even ask. Definitely not my top location.
I went though the drive thru today 15 minutes before close and ordered my usual medium hot mocha with milk chocolate. After I paid and received my order, I took a sip, and it was peppermint. It was no big deal, people make mistakes. However, I am disappointed regarding how the mishap was handled. I drove back around to the window and told them that they gave me the incorrect order. Instead of the cashier apologizing to me and trying to make it right, all she said was “we’re closed.” Then the shift lead, Nicole chimed in and informed me that there was nothing they could do about it because they had already shut off their machines. All she said was “what’s your name? Come back tomorrow and we’ll make you the right one.” No offer for a refund, no offer for a compensation of my troubles. Through the combination of the rudeness of the cashier, and the manager not wanting to make things right, I am left with a negative impression regarding how this Caribou location operates and values their regular customers.
It's a terrible tragedy and an abomination that the owners of these multi million dollar establishments. Can't take thirty seconds to respond to real people that have spent their hard earned money. Instead the owners send a printed out message AI because decent business men and women don't exist anymore. If there was a ridiculous amount of money to be made. From decent curtious customer service treatment. Everyone would be taking care of and treated as they should be. Shame on you people shame on you.
I would pass on this location. Service is slow, and the coffee isn't great. I ordered a simple Americano, and it tastes like a drop coffee. The lemon bread was stale. I asked for a different slice and the second one was better but just not good.
Xtra large white mocha...from all the coffee houses Caribou makes the largest and tastiest white mocha hot.
It was the day before Thanksgiving and I had gotten a large order and everyone was very helpful
instead of writing stupid little notes on my food bag, just take my order correctly so you don’t lose business ? my large coffee was small and all i could taste was sugary sweetness. absolutely rancid. i’ve had caribou a handful of times before and it wasnt bad but this location, or these employees are just so uneducated on how to work customer service and make coffee, it’s sad. i hope they aren’t proud of themselves when they clock out for the night. bare minimum is why they make minimum wage.
