Very cool little historic coffee shop.
Really enjoyed the vibe of this place! The staff is friendly and fast even though it was busy. Must try the Blooming latte & sausage hand pie.

My wife's favorite coffee shop in both Mankato and St. Peter. I was recently there to get a gift card and some branded clothing. Friendly, helpful staff.
River Rock is the best place in Mankato for high quality coffee, artisan tea, and delicious baked goods. Unfortunately, the food menu is not as extensive at the Mankato location as it is in St. Peter, but it still has most of the customer favorites like hand pies, English muffin breakfast sandwiches, and quiche.
Best coffee I have had since I came to Mankato. Really friendly and kind staff. Greeted instantly with a smile and warm welcome/ Super clean and they had a great playlist on.
Modern, chic vibe. Serves bakery, bagels, smoothies and smoothies bowls, variety of tea and coffee too.

Very bad experience, had an iced vanilla bean latte. Looked pretty but tasted very very bad, And I didn’t even finish it because it was that disgusting.On the other hand my friend had iced caramel latte which was also very gross and was chunky. Do not recommend unless you like flavorless, plain, chunky coffee.
Meh...Iced mocha. Not that good. No lids for drinks that go with whip cream & the straws will get soggy from the drink, sooooo......😒
Bakery items were great when I stopped in. Inquired by phone about upcoming bridal shower and was given an email to Helena. She neither responded by email nor phone. Understandable if they are too busy but a reply back would have been appreciated. I Tried to order online for future date but many of items were listed as “out of stock” so it wouldn’t let me order them.

Always wonderful service, light and airy atmosphere, and great options for us non-coffee drinkers. Thankful for the local spot with a locally inspired menu.
the one lady who me and my mom had when we were there was super nice and accommodating when it came to suggestions and my preference of coconut milk. the vibe of the whole place is really nice! i would recommend heading earlier in the day if you want something off their food menu though since those go quick :)
Love this place! Great atmosphere and the baristas are so kind. Drinks taste great, and it's a great place to study, have meetings, catch up with friends - overall, just a great setting.
In town visiting family needed quick cup and found this little gem. Actually was quite spacious inside, the barista was delightful and our drinks taste great!

Great decor. A little pricey but it's a small coffee shop so it has to make up margins in other areas. Lovely atmosphere and excellent coffee.
