Great and simple vanilla latte was the perfect way to start our trip home. Though they had some interesting specialty drinks!
All I can say is, wow. If you like exploring new flavor combinations and trying out new drinks, their rooibos latte is not something I often see in other places. I visited here for a trip up north and it’s so savory (in a tea way) and deep bodied that I went back a second day to get it. Every year this coffee shop is the ONLY place I get coffee in this area!! (Rooibos is a type of red tea — also uncommonly served at cafes!)
We both got the maple vanilla late and it tastes Devine! First time having that combo Usually we go for a Carmel late and whip- will stop again!

Stopped here super quick on the way home from skiing. I just wanted a quick coffee. But man I wish they were closer to where I live. The coffee has a great taste. It tastes so fresh.
Came across this coffee company on a trip up the north shore. One of my favorites. I'm a fan of buying local, but I gotta indulge every now and then and buy a bag from these guys to have it shipped home to Alabama. It's that good!
What a beautiful outstanding hidden gem! I had the opportunity to visit Fika on February 21, 2023 with a friend and oh my word, such a lovely coffee shop with enthusiastic and wonderful customer service. I found the environment to open and welcoming, I will be returning to visit Fika soon.
I guess I'll just throw another 5 star review on the pile of 5 star reviews. Great little local coffee shop, fantastic coffee, and very friendly staff. There wasn't too much foot traffic when I was there so there were a few more tables available for seating, but I could see it getting crowded in there if it's very busy. Most people are taking their coffee to go though. Will definitely go back!
Batista was fantastic and gave great recommendations! Got a maple latte and it was extremely good. Atmosphere inside is also very nice and a great place to hang out or get work done. For sure a place to check out while in Lutsen, MN!
If you are on your way up the North Shore or visiting the Lutsen area make a stop at Fika. The coffee is INCREDIBLE. I had an oat milk Latte unlike any I had tried before.

Cozy coffee shop. Stumbled on it while waiting for my car to charge. Had an Ethiopian blend that was very good.
If you love all things Scandinavian then this place is for you! They have amazing coffee that has fruity notes which my husband loves as well. We also picked up some fika books while we were there that has some great recipes in it!
The staff, ambiance and drinks were top notch! So happy we found it … came back each day of our trip and will for sure be back next time we’re in the area.
Super friendly service and extraordinarily delicious coffee. We were in town from Duluth, wanted a hot, fall-inspired drink. The barista created a Maple, Cardamom and Cinnamon Latte for me! Needless to say, I came back everyday of the trip and got the same amazing latte. Highly recommend Fika.
Love their different roasts, picked up Burundi for home and a maple latte to go, much better quality than other coffee shops in the area.
Best banana bread I’ve ever had. It would be a dream come true if someone could give me this recipe. It was so delicious, moist, dark, rich, chocolatey goodness that will be so hard to top. So delicious, seriously. I haven’t stopped thinking about it since and wish I’d asked someone who the baker was and if they’d be whiling to share the recipe.
Best Cappuccino I’ve had in years. Coming from a guy who was a barista for 4 years at some of the finer shops in LA. Surprising find for northern MN but, boy am I glad I found it.
Great stop during our drive along the coast. Oat milk latte and americano are our regular orders. Both drinks impressed with flavor and texture.
