Food was awesome for a great price. Perfect Sunday breakfast.
A classic cafe serving up breakfast exactly the way you’d expect. Everything was made to order and delicious. The waitress kept our coffee cups full and even suggested the cinnamon roll which was the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. This is the perfect breakfast place if you’re camping at Frontenac and are too lazy to make a meal in the morning. Stop here, you won’t regret it!

If ever on 61 towards Lake City, stop by this gem.. as soon as the door opens, you know you'll be served with the next best thing to homemade cooking all menu item are awesome my personal favorite is "everything under the spuds" just an overall 5 star eaterie

Probably the best breakfast your ever going to eat! And at a fair price. Omellette, French Toast, are excellent! The pancake is good and the size of a medium pizza! My son had the chicken tenders a couple of times and really liked them, but the French toast was even better! The food is worth the wait, which sometimes can take a while, but its worth it!
One gem of a place to eat. The food is perfect and consistent every time. Prices are fair and you will be full and happy. A great deal in a time when they are hard to find.

Love this diner! The menu does not disappoint- if you’re looking for a classic diner plate it is on it! My husband goes for the chicken fried steak and I am all about the omelettes. Their pie and burgers look good, too! Cash only, but there is an ATM.
Discovered this small cafe just a month ago during a group camping event nearby. It was busy but service was top-notch and servers very friendly. You couldn't find a better deal and the food was wonderful. Huge portions! I liked it soooo much that I'm returning today and will probably order the same breakfast.

Stopped at the Whistle Stop on Saturday 10/8/2022 for breakfast. We where out leaf viewing and we also stopped there 10/21 for the first time. What a great breakfast we had it’s a small place but they put out a big breakfast. The food is great the service is excellent the staff is friendly. If your ever in the area or your just looking for great food drive on over there. I guarantee it won’t be your last time.
Carol is an awesome cook! Staff are so friendly and the food is always GREAT!!! Road trip from Black River Falls, WI to Red Wing, MN always calls for a stop at the Whistle Stop Cafe!!!🥰
