Did you know Dunn Bros today's their own beans which makes coffee 40% stronger than other shops? Friendly spot for rocket fuel.
It's a little harder to get to, now that the construction on 169 has their exit closed, but worth the little extra effort for the best coffee that's roasted in house. Mickey (the Owner) is a chatty little spitfire with a great personality, and it's always a pleasure to be served by her, which is often :). The staff that she has are always friendly and polite. Bailey, Madelyn (Maddie), Marissa, Abigail (Effy), and Jodi are joyous to be around. I'm not sure if that's everyone, but those are who I've met so far and have seen most recently. The brew coffee is always hot and fresh, FRESH ROASTED BEANS also available by the pound, with TONS of coffee/non-coffee options as well. One of the ONLY coffee shops that offers a 20oz Nitro Cold Press, and it is Devine. Have had their breakfast biscuit sandwiches and some of the fresh baked goods and never had any complaints. Stop in... your only regret will be when your cup is empty
I've been here several times. The staff are extremely friendly. It's got a cozy atmosphere with lots of seating for different sized groups. The coffee is the best in Elk River by far, and the price is great too. The beans are roasted in-house, and it makes a huge difference in the flavor of the coffee! Their bakery goods are great too, and they heat them up for you. My daughter ordered an apple fritter and they sprinkled it with gummy bears--THAT'S GENIUS!!! Can you imagine a little girl's face light up when she sees gummy bears sprinkled over a pastry? We'll Dunn Brothers...We'll Dunn.
Creamy coconut nirvana is so good but I can't get it ordered like I have at the st michael location. But still very good. Staff is quick and super nice

Best coffee shop in Elk River!! The ladies at this Dunn Brothers makes your day as soon as you step in the door. Its like they've known you their entire lives. So friendly and not to mention the food, coffee is very delicious!!
I've been to many different Dunn Brothers before. I absolutely love them. The coffee you get to select from for a pack of beans is always fresh and locally roasted. Can't beat a free cup of any size coffee or tea when you purchase one too. The food they make is wonderful and the pastries are always freshly made as well. Great customer service was well. Can't complain about anything.

My husband and I had a terrific visit!! Awesome staff!! It felt like the good ol' days when everyone knew everyone. Almost everyone that walked in was known by name and truly cared for. It was so refreshing to see and experience. It gives one hope for humanity! I've been a loyal caribou customer for many years, but this Dunn Brothers is our new favorite. Thank you for a fantastic visit and cup of coffee.

Such a wonderful coffee shop and such great staff!! Dunn Brother’s coffee is by far the BEST to begin with, but the service is outstanding here. I like to order the breakfast sandwiches with a coffee a few times per month, and only one time have I had an order that was made incorrectly. I called to explain what happened, as I was worried I had made an error in my online app order. They were so apologetic and accommodating, and said that the next time I order, it would be on the house. Of course I ordered again, and it was perfect. I will always be a DB customer, so a mistake in my order would have never deterred me from returning, but I sure appreciate how kind and accommodating they were. Best coffee, fantastic food, and awesome people. What else could you ask for?
Love this location, love dunn bros, super friendly owners and the egg sandwiches are my favorite of all coffee shops around.

I was here on 9/12/21 and ordered an espresso and bakery item. The bakery item was fine, however the espresso was incredibly stale tasting and watery. It was so bad, in fact, I had to throw it out. If I had to guess, they hadn't cleaned their espresso machine in a while, didn't tamp the espresso grounds correctly, and/or used a very stale coffee. I think it might be difficult to notice how bad this coffee is in a flavored drink like a mocha or vanilla latte, however be cautioned that the coffee they are adding to your drink perhaps isn't actually that good.
Best gluten free sandwich ever. I miss the turkey bacon but the beyond sausage was excellent. I love that this location still has spinach and tomato!!
