Gorgeous location and the coffee was very high quality. We went on a Saturday morning and they had live music! A genuine 5-star place.

I had drip coffee but my friend had one of the teas and she raved about it. The atmosphere is really great. It was a quiet place in the middle of downtown. Staff were super friendly. Definitely recommend!

This place is so comforting and makes for a great start to the morning. I loved the local art for sale and the friendly staff. Will become a go-to when I'm in town!

Expensive but you get what you pay for.

The espresso is fantastic. I've only ever had their espresso over ice because that's what I do. The espresso has an inherently sweet yet also acidic flavor. I get mine over ice with a splash of half and half. The addition of half and half could be a teeny bit more but it's fine. A couple of the times that I've gone there there has been a dog which is always a nice addition. The atmosphere is interesting. If you're looking for a cozy place with people generally wearing a septum piercing, then this is the place for you. The coffee itself is a huge draw and the location though lacking parking is in beautiful downtown Duluth.

I will start by saying the service was very welcoming and friendly. It was our first time here and we had heard good things. I ordered a mocha and my husband had a black coffee. My mocha was very bitter and even adding more sugar didn't help it. My husband said the same about his coffee. The mocha wasn't chocolate-y at all, either. I will still go back some time to try their teas or a Matcha, but until their mocha recipe is improved, I will not order another Espresso-based drink or coffee. The atmosphere is a very nice space to study or do work, which is always a plus for a local coffee shop.

It was immediately apparent that Dream Cloud was something special once you walk in. The atmosphere and aesthetic they've created is so unique, that it truly stands out from other coffee shops. The owners, Charlie and Emily, were incredibly friendly and know their stuff when talking coffee, it's clear they have a true passion for it. My wife and I both tried items off their seasonal menu and they were both fantastic. (House made syrups what's not to love?) I'll be recommending Dream Cloud to anyone I know visiting Duluth. My only complaint is that I don't live close enough to go there regularly, until next time!

Five stars is an understatement for this special coffee shop, what a pleasant surprise this was! This morning, we went to two local coffee shops/roasters and Dream Cloud was the one that blew us away!! They have a menu of the classics along with an extremely unique seasonal menu (with tea options as well). Charlie (who we learned is the owner, along with his wife Emily) was extremely gracious and kind. They have created a relaxing haven with a great atmosphere and fantastic drinks. Thank you Dream Cloud! We will be back next time we are in Duluth.

Coffee from people who care!! Great place. Good roaster. Coffee and cappuccinos are great. Mood is cool. Parking can be a pain in winter, but it is worth it to go around the block to find a spot. “Traditional” cappuccinos served in handle-less ceramics can change your perspective. The vessel can matter as much as the content. Hard to ever drink a cappuccino in a to-go cup after having them at DreamCloud.

I don't know what happened to this coffee...... If you roasted it too long but it's awful. Spent way too much money on it and we can't drink it. I've been drinking coffee a long time and I'm sorry to say this was the worst.

This is the best coffee shop in Duluth. Very small batch roaster that has been producing some of my favorite single estate coffees that I’ve ever had, and the cafe is the one spot I would point you toward if you were looking for wonderful espresso in the twin ports. Also they serve their drinks in the most beautiful mugs that they made themselves!

I'm a big fan of the espresso here, served with a small glass of mineral water, just perfect. I also bought some beans from them recently for my home espresso machine and they are smoooooth! The owners make each visit a warm experience. Definitely recommend!

Excellent coffee, lovely space, and knowledgeable staff. It is apparent from visits here and other coffee shops in downtown Duluth that the city takes its coffee seriously. My server, who may have been the owner, gave me a guided tour of the coffee I was drinking—botany, geography, history, etc. He had a personal relationship with the grower, who makes annual trips to Duluth to connect with this coffee shop. What could have been a basic cup of coffee turned into a very informative afternoon. Duluth gem.

What a beautiful shop. As a Minneapolis native, I hadn’t been here since it was Jitters. The coffee is delicious, great service, and there was live music on a Saturday AM. Definitely give this local shop your money instead of the Starbucks down the road!
