It is an odd way to order, stand in line and then quickly move to the counter. They take your order on a pad, give you an order number and they call you back to the counter to pick it up and pay. However it is probably faster than McDonalds! Hamburgers are hot and fresh off the grill. Huge servings of French fries too, for a regular order.

Reasonably priced. Fun atmosphere. Great service. Good music. Family of 4 left Gordy's Hi-Hat full and very happy.

I have always loved gordys. Their food is awesome their workers top notch. I stopped the other day and got a fish dinner and was dissappointed that the fish was so small. I am used to the big slices we always got.

A must stop for burgers and shakes. At times can be busy because the secret is out. Featured on triple D. Diners Drive ins and Dives. Nothing fancy just good food with a 50's vibe.

Hope I could give more than 5 stars! This is a nostalgic place where you can have the best food with great deals! I love the deal on Thursdays, which you can have a double cheeseburger for $6. The fish and chips is also another great story!

Brought wife and kids there on Mother's Day for lunch, It was busy but we were served quickly. Had the fish and shrimp basket and it did not disappoint, good size food portions but drink size was small. All in all great place and will go back before they close over winter.

All American delicious diner food. Plenty of seating outside. You can tell this place is "the spot" in town when you drive by. My wife and I loved finishing off your meal with a banana and a raspberry shake! So good!

FANTASTIC!!! Been going here since I was a kid and now as an adult it is a must when I am in the area. Great food all around, love the malt and shakes. Great place to take the family or a date night. Bring the whole family too with their other building with ice-cream and playground add on. Great family business and highly suggest.

Love the blackberry shake! Made with fresh blackberries. You can't go wrong with anything here. The food is great and the shakes are amazing. The fish plate is really good best tarter sauce.

Always a must visit place when in the Duluth / Cloquet area. Their double cheeseburger is probably my favorite burger in the country, and the fries are awesome.

What a fun place to go!! It's always busy, so be prepared to wait if the weather is nice. You can tell it's "The Place to Be".

Best, best, best place to go. Diner food at its best. Friendliest staff; courteous, helpful, attentive. That's just the beginning! The food is absolutely amazing!!! Best burgers in the Northland! The fries, so good. The onion rings, to die for! I highly recommend Gordy's Hi-Hat for serious food lovers...only.
