Updated: I came back after the owner asked me to give a second chance and tried the caramel latte, hibiscus latte, and hot cocoa in addition to the chai latte. It was a bit awkward coming in when the staff, although polite, rather avoided making conversation this time. They have indoor seating now. And the hot cocoa was dark chocolate and delicious. The caramel latte reminded me of Dunkin Donuts' caramel latte. And the hibiscus was not doing it. Thanks so much for asking me back! ------ I saw the reviews and wanted to check this place out. The owner was super nice and quite conversational. He told me about how they reopened in November, how their customers kept them going through covid, how they're getting some seats installed and had a new window installed, and how the brewery next door shares outdoor seating with them in the summer. But I had to give 2 stars because the drink I bought tasted so bitter I had to throw it out. And the pop tart (cute idea) just doesn't compare in taste, aesthetic, or size to other cafes)/coffee near me. There weren't any temporary seating options and parking was very confusing to find. Only take-out is available during the winter months until they get some seating for customers.
I’m hooked on New Orders FRESHLY roasted espresso beans with hand-written roasting date- mailed in a day for my little home Breville latte bar! Saw the Royal Oak building but it was closed so the delivery is actually perfect over here. My go-to is Everyday Espresso but after reading every coffee’s clever descriptions while gift shopping, I added Brazil Cereado to my espresso list (what flavor!) and my gift of Organic Bali Blue Moon & 2 NOCR mugs was a hit! Oh and we LOVE the name New Order as 80’s kids.
Excellent coffee and breakfast sandwiches! My favorite is the Rwanda, but every coffee I've tried has been excellent. They rotate coffees like micro breweries do beers, which gives you regular chances to try something new, different, and exotic. The sandwiches they recently added are delicious, and they're not routine small breakfast sandwiches. They will fill you up with delicious quality flavor. And the price compares favorably with other shops in the area that charge more for lesser products. Finally, they have beautiful indoor furnishings they picked up from a local artist. Try them, you won't regret it!

Had a great experience here! I always feel a little bougie when I ask questions about the flavor profile of my coffee, but I swear I'm only trying to make sure my coffee isn't too dark or fruity. That's it. The staff was very kind to answer my questions and got me a sample of the two coffees I was debating between so I could determine which one I wanted to bring home. These coffees are so smooth, it's ridiculous. Absolutely worth the price of admission. Support a Michigan roaster!

Owner was very friendly and helpful, the menu size is perfect and I got a cereal milk matcha latte which was soooo good. My friend got the peach pop tart and I got an almond jam bar and they were so fresh and flavorful. Would definitely recommend to stop if you are in town! There are a couple seats in the window inside or you can take a short walk down to a park.
New Order Coffee Roasters has justified the rating they have gotten. The staff was courteous and welcoming. The latte is a must try. I will definitely be visiting again soon.
Their style of coffee is unique. I like it. They have their own roasters. Very convenient spot.

Great little place with good coffee and fresh beans. I just wish there was an option for a larger size coffee/latte. One size only and does not satisfy my strong urge for coffee lol.( update) they offer a larger size now!
Friendly staff and great drinks. We really enjoyed the loose leaf, hibiscus tea. There espresso is also very good. No seating, so you just have to take it to go.

Visited here for the first time on Saturday, it’s the perfect addition to St. Clair Shores! I definitely found my new favorite coffee shop
I stopped in there today for the first time and I enjoyed it! It's a cute little place and smells wonderful. The coffee was very fresh and my latte was delicious. It's a great addition to Saint Clair Shores!
