Breakfast egg and meat pastries were flaky and savory. We will be back!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. My sister recommended it (we were visiting from NW Ohio on our honeymoon) and she was so right! Staff is phenomenal (they even remembered us (and my name) from the previous day)... Sweet treats divine... And coffee... Omg wow so good! This will be the first place we stop when we're in town next. ♥️

It’s winter, and you have to eat outside. They have an indoor seating area that isn’t available for use. Our breakfast sandwiches were barely warm and the cheese wasn’t melted. It was pricey for what you get. It was ok, and clean at least.

Cute place for bites and coffee. They so sell alcohol and some mixers.

The Peasant’s Pantry is SO delicious and 100% worth a stop (or even going out of your way) if you’re near SW Michigan! Their decorated sugar cookies are incredible - so much better than a regular decorated sugar cookie. We had them make a cake for my husband’s birthday and it was to die for! We also sampled a variety of other treats - cupcakes, cookies, quiche, etc. and there was not one thing we didn’t wish for more of. We will absolutely be stopping in any time we are anywhere in the vicinity!

We initially stopped to grab a coffee, we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the pastries and breakfast menu. Everything we tried was delicious.

LOVED the muffins and breads... So fluffy and light! The biscuits were also a hit with my family, as were the bagels and the other fruity thing (forget the name). I recommend arriving at opening. You'll also want a few minutes to check out their little wine/coffee shop.

This was so disappointing. None of the items listed here are on the menu. It is carry out only, and its just bagels and some bakery items. They must have sold out or downsized. Do not waste your time stopping.

Whenever we visit the area , we have to have at least one meal here. Anything we have ever ordered has been delicious , and presented in such a lovely way. The biscuits and gravy, sandwiches, salads--everything is just great. Excellent coffee, pastries--and the deli items they sell are all top quality. We love this place!

3 employees on duty ..Asked if I could get Lettuce Tom mayo on turkey bagel instead of cheese. some answer was NO. "we just don't do that" said Lauren. I suggest you just put in Vendening machines and call it a day. Most unpleasant experience at Peasant pantry.. will never return and will share my experience with anyone who asks about the service Only customer in the Pantry. worst customer treatment I have ever experienced.Shamefull.

Seems their website is not updated. We found them on a Google search looking for breakfast but when we got there there was no dine in option. It seemed like they had a fair selection of pre-prepared food to carry out but we were looking for a restaurant. We did get coffee to go but we were disappointed not to find what was advertised.

We stopped in here on a Saturday morning and had an awesome experience. The service was friendly and personal. But, the food was even better. We loved the biscuits and gravy and pancakes. You can't go wrong with either of these plates. Plus, the bakery on the way out... definitely indulge. We'll be back for sure.

So glad we stumbled upon this place on our way from Detroit to Madison Wisconsin. What a necessary breath of peaceful fresh air. #grateful The service was fast when we told them we were in a hurry and the atmosphere extremely relaxed. We enjoyed the local art displayed on the walls and about the store. Fresh baked cookies for the road ahead and a couple extra as presents. TY!! 😌

If you’re in the area, it’s a must! Food was delicious! I had the Veggie Hash (amazing!) and my husband was very pleased with the Pantry Benedict. Staff was great, very friendly and efficient. The manager/owner? checked on us, entertained our 18 month old, and was running around bussing tables, seating guests, and helping staff. Excellent experience! Will be back next time we are in town.

This is the second year we are using this as our meet up location to exchange my nephew with my sister-in-law who lives in Grand Rapids. We live outside of Chicago and it is the halfway point for us. Last year with covid prevalent, we ate in the back of our SUV. I had the amazing grilled cheese sandwich and the delicious lemon peppermint toddy (which I stuck with again this year). Today I am writing because the man that was taking names, bussing tables, taking food out, and just wearing all the hats was just incredible. He noticed someone left their drink as they were walking to their car and he ran out after them handing out their drink. This is a must stop bakery/restaurant! Not only is the food amazing, but the service is incredible. Also, the butter, toffee, chocolate chip cookies are the best sweet tooth item ever!

Stopped here for breakfast on our way to Chicago. The entire family agreed that this was one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had. Service and food was phenomenal!
