I've been getting the Almond Joy espresso drink for about 18 years and I don't anticipate stopping anytime soon. It's so delicious! I also enjoy the s'mores, but Almond Joy is my fav!

Nice coffee shop to get some work done or visit with a friend. The atmosphere is super light and airy and the baristas are kind and engaging. I had the chai when I went in which was good but very sweet, otherwise they have a good variety of caffeinated teas.

Lovely! Great place to stop after church with a light and peaceful feel. The playlist they have on shuffle always puts me in a sunny mood. The bagel had a fresh vegan pizza taste, which was surprising but by all means welcome! The arugula and tomatoes gave it an Italian flavor. The dalgona latte is a unique thing to order because of the crumbles of honeycomb on top. But after those dissolve/get eaten, it taste like a regular latte.

It's a cute local spot and is a pleasant addition to the local scene, with a clean aesthetic and a selection of baked goods and coffee drinks, but I have to say that the espresso is not to my taste: it was made from over-roasted beans and the shot was over-extracted, so the only impression was burnt and bitter. My companion had a mocha, which she reported also tasted bitter and unpleasant, through the milk and chocolate. Maybe it was just off today, but I'm not inclined to come back. The barista, a young man with long hair, was friendly and engaging.

Wasnt aware they reopened until a few months ,so glad i did though. Best coffee ☕️ in mid michigan, with 3 drip flavors to choose from daily an a decaf ,from renowned regions across the globe🌎 Love the Kenyan 🇰🇪 AA an Papa New Guinea and wide selection in general. Be sure to grab a bag or 2 for the road. Nice clean ,crisp look at new location. Cant go wrong here, if ever in the area ,do yourself favor an be sure to swing in for a delicious cup of joe

When I think of a coffee shop the Red Eye is what I think of. It is the coffee shop by which your friend and humble narrator judges all others..

Atmosphere is great. Service is very slow and indifferent. Hope this business model works for you, doesn't work for me....your menu rocks, service does not...

Hasn't changed since college, and I mean that in a good way. It's always been an anchor of the neighborhood. Great prices and friendly staff. ------------ 2022 Reopening This is very different from the previous location. I see lots of the roots of the old place but there's a very Instagram vibe to everything too. It looks good and I hope it develops it's own vibe.

I used to run small concerts at the C. A. G. E. (Collective Arts Gallery and Exchange) where the Red Eye is supposed to reopen. I have been anxiously been waiting since the day they closed to reopened. I want to sit in that space and reminisce the packed room and hear the songs in my head. It’s sad it’s taking so long to re-open as I don’t want to support StarBucks and maybe I’d rather being in Saginaw than go to Shields for a sit down setting. Please hurry as I remember hearing it was only supposed to be a few months to transition over. We are all looking forward to it. Finally I saw a sign go up and that made me very happy and hopeful. Love.
