The Saginaw Live Oak has been a wonderful addition to the area. You can't ask for better service, and I always enjoy the food and drinks. My favorites are the pour-over coffees, breakfast sandwiches, and the morning glory muffins. The atmosphere is the best around. Large windows let in ample sunlight, relaxing music puts you at ease, and Wifi keeps you connected (if you want). They also have a selection of items to take home like canisters of tea from Harney & Sons, coffee beans, and house-made granola bars.

Had an American...no food on this visit. Service was excellent... Helped me understand ingredients.... I'm just a basic coffee person but this is an excellent stop for a blast of caffeine any time of the day.

I love Live Oak! They also have the best coffee shop bites and their drinks have so much thought and craft put into them. There is always a perfect blend of sweet in their matcha, without losing its natural flavor. The vegan brownie was surprisingly gooey, especially if you get it warmed up.

Sadly not very impressed. The coffee was extremely expensive, I asked if the bagels contained egg and instead of looking they just said I think so, there were only 2 people working (one of which was training and was left upfront by herself to deal with all the orders while the other person went to the back making it take forever). After all that, the coffee isn’t even good..

I am in love with this coffee shop. Every drink I've ordered has been fantastic; so much better than the uber sweet drinks from other shops. The staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very pleasant. If I had time to, I'd sit and stay awhile with a good book and lots more coffee and matchas. Y'all gotta stop by and give them a try.

Easily one of my favorite study spots, the baristas are friendly and make some great drinks. Try the seasonal cinnamon roll latte!

They need to teach them how to make coffee and teas. Every time they make there coffee too sweet or strong. But the food good. I don't think they train they to make coffee or tea.

Very slow service, ordered espresso based drink and even though Barista had temperature probe in milk, the drink was luke warm at best. Weak espresso taste. Overall poor experience. * As answer to the reply, this is not my first visit, every time I've ordered the same drink, it's been disappointing. Seems a mega expensive espresso machine is only as good as the person operating it. I've been ordering espresso for over 40 years and feel modern shops think they can reply on the machine in place of Barista knowledge to achieve a quality drink. This is not the case obviously. In comparison, a experienced Barista will produce a better drink on a old school machine every time. At this point, there's no reason a for a re-visit, just a investment in a new espresso machine. 11/27/22; On a lark since I'm local, I tried them again at 3PM, Asked for a Cappuccino and requested it "wet", the person waiting on me didn't know what this was....I asked another "Barista" who walked out of the back if he knew what a wet Cappuccino was, he said no, never heard of it! I walked out without a drink. Sad.

After a brief discussion with the barista, I found out they roast their own beans. This made me excited to try their espresso. As I took the first shot of espresso, I instantly realized this was going to be good. The blast of earthy flavor hit the spot. The barista was Professional and friendly, making sure the coffee was perfect and asked me if I wanted to wait while she recalibrated the machine, due to fast shot. This level of expertise is very refreshing. Overall highly recommend. and great job to the Barista.

The baristas and drinks are lovely, however management is failing their employees. Numerous times I’ve come in and there has been only one person working and they’re somehow expected to cover the front counter and a drive thru? Management should be ashamed of themselves for scheduling this way. If they believe this is ok, then they should be working by themselves.

the poor girl working alone this afternoon was so stressed out she on the verge of tears! I can’t believe you have such a large shop with only one person working at a time! shame on you.
