Everything was fresh including the fresh baked bread. We ordered veggie subs and they were great.
Have you ever had a sandwich you were still thinking about and craving years later? The sub sandwiches here are THAT good!! I live out of state and visited here for the first time in summer 2019 on my way back from Whitefish Point. When I was in the area again last week, I knew I had to come back. The Mighty Mac was just as good as I remembered. Loaded with quality meat and just the right amount of other toppings on bread that has just the right amount of softness but doesn't fall apart. The portion sizes are BIG!! Walls inside the cafe are adorned with signs and souvenirs for sale. The bathroom is clean. The service is great!! I'll be back the next chance I get.
We stopped in here a couple years ago on our way out of the woods after selling our cabin. Well...wouldn't you know it...best hot subs we have ever had. Stopped back yesterday on a trip to the falls and got The mighty Mac hot sub, a pasty and some tomato basil soup. Waayyy too much food lol. They did not disappoint!! Generous portions on the su s. It's on our list of must stops for any yooper travel
A very small place with a great owner who makes and serves best and biggest subs at a reasonable price.
Tried this place while on Vaction. Me and my parents all got subs. They were great and loaded down with meat. All the desserts looked awesome too!
Wow! Amazing sub hands down the best ever. Had the shipwreck on wheat came as a 12' and split it and half was more than enough. Great price too 1 sub, 2 coffees and tip came to $20

Chicken and dumpling soup was pretty good! The blueberry muffin was out of this world!!
Had the mighty mac sandwich was awesome this is a great spot to get a great sub eat here and you will never want subway again
Awesome subs here, I got two meals out of mine. Heads up their parking lot connects to IGA, so parking can be tight, but there is a shop on the other side with lots of parking, I’d say hit this whole little strip area, neat local fare. Full Verizon service here too.
The best breakfast in town. I wish breakfast was served every day of the week .

I was not expecting a place in such a small town to have such amazing food . The Italian sub (shipwreck) was incredible. Stuffed with meat, slightly warm and , just enough veggies. Then the Blueberry Pie! Wow! Homemade on site (they said.) The crust was flaky and the blueberries not too sweet. I would recommend coming here to anyone.
The subs are excellent and the lady running the place is really nice. Definitely recommend!
