Delicious food and coffee! Stopped in for breakfast and we were not disappointed. We had the Kev McMurphin and the muffin was toasted to perfection! The mocha was delicious. Very friendly staff, highly recommend this place!

I really want to love this place, but it misses the mark for me! My family lives outside of Northport and I’ve been coming here for over 25 years! It’s been so nice to finally have a coffee shop with an actual espresso machine in town! However, this trip the drinks have been hit or miss - americano, dirty chai, etc. I’ve been ordering in person and online and today I finally noticed that barista hasn’t been pulling actual shots of espresso - she’s been using a push pot (where you put brewed drip coffee) and pumping that into our drinks. She said that it’s espresso in the push pot and the shots have “cooled off” ?? It has truly tasted terrible! I’m not sure if that’s their standard practice?? Or if they do that doing busy times? Maybe the espresso machine was having issues ? At any rate, I’ve worked as a barista - espresso shots are to be pulled per order, and are absolutely not supposed to sit for a prolonged time - it loses the flavor while becoming extremely bitter. It’s pretty disappointing because I love the vibe of the place, and the folks have been incredibly kind and friendly! I’ll circle back around next trip, but will just stick to our brewed coffee at home for the rest of our time here. Edited to add: the breakfast burrito was yummy! And thank you for addressing my concerns :)

Quality to rival any Parisian café right in little ol' Northport. Had the best dirty chai this morning—perfectly balanced flavor, perfect temperature, just delicious. And chocolate croissants that are consistently excellent, the best I've had anywhere. Service is prompt and friendly. Great on a summer morning to sit outside, but a welcome cozy stop in cold weather!

You know in the movies and on tv shows, every little town has a cozy cafe that appeals to locals and tourists alike? You know how in the real world, we are constantly losing these businesses around the country to chain-dining, where everyone knows exactly what microwaved meal they're going to receive? New Bohemian is keeping the tradition of a family owned, true-to-town café alive. Freshly made amazing sandwiches, wraps, soups, salads, pastries, and more. They have an excellent menu of coffee drinks. They strive to know their customers, whether it's your first time in, or your hundredth. Northport is a better place with the New Bo here.

The bread in the sandwiches is phenomenal. And the onion jam....wow! Nice people, homey atmosphere, great coffee. Definitely a little gem hidden away along the shore!

A critical piece to the up-and-coming town of Northport, this cafe is not just "rural" good, it's "city" good. We are proud to have such a high-quality place to pick up excellent coffee, fresh sandwiches, and other creative fare. Staff is friendly and positive, so you get all the pros of a metropolitan sandwich shop with none of the distasteful big-city attitude.

Wonderful breakfast burrito and coffee 😋☕ Pro tip: a little crowded so don't count on dining in. Goes to show it's a great place.

Breakfast burrito and the Murphette are awesome!!! Wish there were a couple more "kid friendly" options for food, but hubs and I enjoyed our food. Friendly staff and cozy space. Great music too... Staff singing along was really fun :) I love the compostable plastics and the overall humanist vibe here :)
