The owner is amazing and funny. Get the whole sandwich, eat half, and fill up on dessert!

Fantastic mushroom soup and a delicious panini sandwich. So glad I turned off the main highway to find this gem! I will definitely stop here again if I'm passing through!

Great food! Wonderful service! They were busy, but very efficient. They also have some really beautiful jewelry for sale, some made with local stones! Will definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic Bakery, known for their exquisite, unique and vast selections of cheesecakes- Midtown will not disappoint even the loftiest expectations. Be prepared for a premium price, I promise you it will be beyond worth it! The staff consistently goes out of the way to create beautiful and edible works of art that are as tasty as the staff is accommodating. A must stop. Side note, the cake cut outs are extremely inexpensive and a perfect delightful treat for on the go. Your kids will love them, which is a great excuse to get one for yourself as well!

Midtown always exceeds expectations. Today we visited with our two small kids and all the employees/servers we talked with went above and beyond to not only give great service, but connect with our kids, ask them how they liked everything and treat them so kindly. Amazing soups today and even better service. Super appreciate all you do to provide an awesome lunch spot in downtown Negaunee!

I’ve lived in the UP my whole life, but just made it to Midtown Bakery today. The decor is so cute and fun, the workers are very friendly, and the food was great. We got breakfast and a piece of caramel pumpkin cheesecake and they were both awesome. Will definitely be back!

Delicious baked goods.A local favorite and regular choice for many locals. Great homey small cozy atmosphere. Have had them make birthday cakes, cookies and special desserts for us over the years. Always appreciated their high quality, efficient service and baked treats.Very locally supportive of community organizations and activities as well. Highly recommend for new visitors and appreciate their presence in our community.

Very sweet people and good cake for our wedding, however, would have appreciated them providing some labels for the different types of cake and perhaps a box to put it in at the end of the night. We had no idea what to do with our leftovers and our guests didn’t know the flavors we had at all. These things aren’t truly required obviously, but it would have been really nice and less stressful for us as the bride and groom.

Small, friendly, local bakery and cafe (more like a soup and sandwich shop than a cafe). This is a must-go place if you're shopping for antiques and have a need for anything ranging from a cookie to a really great soup and sandwich. They have different soup specials every day, and their cheesecakes are fabulous!

Don't go here. You will end up fat! Best little hidden bakery outside of Canada. The baker always comes up with delightful goodies to try!
