Proving Grounds coffee has been such a great addition to Milford. The fresh ground coffee is always great. I also love that I can get other beverages such as matcha and charcoal drinks when the spirit moves me! The avacado toast is one of my favorites in the morning and a cookie in the afternoon. Great atmosphere to meet with friends. Staff is always friendly and service is quick. My favorite place to go in downtown Milford. PS. The ice cream has been a great addition.
Aside from the amazing lattes and avocado toast, this is my go to place for the best coffee house vibes in town!
We always have such a wonderful experience here! From the ice cream for the kids to the lattes for mom, and even the sandwiches, everything is so good! We really enjoy the staff pics! That helps us choose from a variety instead of getting the same thing over again!
Love the staff. Em and Cait are the best baristas. But we love them all. Treat Jill (mom) as royalty.

Proving Grounds is one of our favorite spots in Milford! We love Brown Dog Ice Cream, their huge section of coffee and tea. Mostly, though, we always feel welcome, comfortable, and happy to support a great local business.

Proving Grounds is a lovely, spacious cafe with good food and lots of beverage options. It’s a nice place to spend some time! I would be a very regular customer if Proving Grounds would source lighter roast coffees. At this time, however, all of the coffee is burnt making each cup unpleasant and void of any delicious coffee notes that make coffee so beautiful. Tons of potential at this place and I love the sandwiches! EDIT: I would love to try PG again soon, but please please please serve lighter roasted coffee. If the beans are seeping oils, you over roasted it.
