It's a lunch counter style setup. You order at the cash register, then you go pick up your order from the end of the line. I was happy to see a lot of vegetarian options. The food was really good!

Really good dishes. Surprisingly sophisticated dishes (given that most people who know Trenary just know the brown bags of Trenary Toast!). Good service and a nice, stylish dining area.

I adore this place! The drinks are amazing and good sized. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The workers are nice and keep the place clean but it's still homey.

I'm in love with the squeaky cheese plate! Truly, it has it all: Salty, sweet, creamy, crunchy! Highly recommended! The giant cinnamon rolls are good, but they really are giant - maybe get a small? You can buy breads, Trenary toast, and jams (including cloudberry) as grocery items, too.

Great cinnamon rolls. I had the egg bites. The dill and the pepper jelly worked very well together. Staff was nice

I so love this place! Right in the heart of town with great food and lots of local color, I mention it to tourists whenever I can. And I always recommend the squeaky cheese!

Really great unique breakfast menu, and great cinnamon rolls. Love the merch and the Trenary Toast bag shirt. Very friendly service. It’s a bit pricey, but great quality for the money.

Nice place to go in downtown Marquette. We had coffee and it was good. Staff was friendly. They have wide seating area, convenient table arrangement and a merchandise shop as well. Restrooms were clean. Price was reasonable.

I was happy to see on their website multiple vegan options. While I’m happy they have vegan options, my sandwich today was $14 and looked dismal. Even with the tomatoes that were supposed to be on it, which they forgot to put on, it would not have been worth it. I didn’t realize how much more it was to have a sandwich made vegan, so that was my bad for not asking, but to add almost $4 to take off half of what was supposed to be on it and serve two pieces of bread, super thin layer of vegan cream cheese, two pieces vegan bacon and a lil jalapeño. $14! Came with a side of chips. The vanilla oat milk latte was good. But won’t be going back.

Cute little café with a small food menu. Has sandwiches, coffees, breakfast sandwiches, cinnamon rolls. For being such a simple menu the food was really good! The house blend coffee was good.

Do not recommend for coffee/specialty drinks. The chai is powdered and both my husband’s drink and mine were served barely warm.

Pair their Cinnamon Bread French Toast with the excellent drip coffee and you have an amazing breakfast. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
