This place is a cool Midwestern gem. Kinda like going to aunties house for a talking to, and getting a snack while you're at it. Patricia the owner is like teriyaki jerky. Sweet and tough. Made me feel right at home even though I'm from across the country. Bicuits and gravy were good, coffee just like aunty makes it. Have to add, seems like the only place to get a customized built to order sandwich in Manistee unless you like chain restaurants (blech). Excuse me... Sammich.. not sandwich.

Huge portions for sandwiches and very good quality. If you are looking for a quick and healthy sandwhich, give this place a try when in Manistee. We were happy we did!

The owners are very friendly. They are personable. You can tell they enjoy making and serving good breakfast and lunch fare to their customers. The coffee is delicious. This is a hidden treasure in historic downtown Manistee.

Incredible sandwiches.and enough food on the sandwich, I brought half of it home for supper. I'll definitely go again. Matter of fact, my friend and I had been there before and when we were discussing lunch, we agreed this was the place to go.

Nice staff, fast service, homemade cinnamon rolls were warm and fresh. The croissant with bacon, egg and cheese was very tasty, make sure to say you want egg on it. Good place for breakfast on a Monday when very few places are open.

As a black person from out of town, it certainly looks a certain way when I wait 20min and receive my food last out of every person there. Customers were nice, at least.

Really great little small spot for a quick bite. Food was very affordable and the staff were super nice. I really enjoyed their build your own breakfast sandwich. Will definitely be making more stops here on my trips during the summer :)

This is possibly the finest cinnamon roll I have ever had. I had it to accompany a salted caramel Frappuccino. Both were incredible. In the time I was in The “Comfy Room,” I learned that the homemade cinnamon roll was so homemade, it had raised for six hours. I learned this as the roll unraveled. As the roll unraveled, I realized it was not the matter of the baked good that was coming apart, but the very fabric of my own being. First the skin and flesh rolled away and my spirit was laid bare to mingle with the not-too-sweet-but-oh-so-cinnamony center of the roll. As my very essence rolled in the mons of cinna, the core of my being was lost and I spent five more hours existing as a frappucino.
