Great dining experience with a friendly staff
I have been going to this restaurant since I was two and I’m now currently 65. Amazing breakfast and very clean location and the people that work here are totally people pleaser must go to if you’re an Indian river for breakfast.
We stopped by here on our way across MI. We are from Dallas visiting family. They served the best omelet I have had in years. It was light fluffy, not overcooked. My husbands skillet was cooked just right, veggies were still a little crisp and it wasn’t swimming in cheese. Our server was so polite and attentive. This was a delightful stop.
This restaurant always has great food. We had breakfast, but their lunch menu is great also.
This little diner was cute. The food was good, coffee hot, and service great. I was taken aback with all the ads everywhere though - weird. Everything had ads on it: tables, glasses, mugs. I felt like the plates and silverware would've had "this food is sponsored by..." if they could - LOL I don't think I'd spend my money here again, but it wasn't a bad experience.
My "Plant Based Breakfast" of Oatmeal, Blueberries, Bananas, and Walnuts! Service as always was Fantastic!
Worst cheesey broccoli soup I ever had. My wife's wedding soup was not any better. Only place open in town, so we thought we'd try it. Go to Vinios a bit south and have a good meal.
We enjoyed it. Service was great, coffee could be stronger, but my cup was never empty.
Breakfast and lunch are very good. A little pricey, but I guess that's what you expect in a Northern Michigan tourist town. Especially in Summer, expect to wait for a table.
Awesome little cafe! The food was great. I got the shrimp basket and the raspberry sweet hot sauce it came with was really good. The kids really enjoyed their food as well. Waitress was super friendly and the atmosphere has a nice American diner feel. Needless to say, I was very impressed with this little place!

Love this place!!! During the week, it's where all the locals meet. On weekends everyone comes here. SO GOOD!
Stopped in for a delicious breakfast. The Burt Lake Special will be a go to for me. Sausage, egg, large grilled biscuit, absolutely covered in sausage gravy. I had to take half home! If nearby and need a good meal, swing in!
Luvs this place! My favorites are eggs benedict and the corned beef hash...both delicious!! The staff is friendly and food is served quickly.
Great breakfast..it was busy but we got right in. Service was a bit slow but not bad for how busy they were.
Went here a few times through the years visiting family & going back home "down state". But live in Petoskey now & go to Cheboygan to visit. We stop every chance we get & seriously haven't had a bad dish yet! They have Great service & ridiculously quick food service. Love the Corned Beef Hash breakfast. They actually cook the eggs the way I ask, which is hard to find. Overeasy medium. Try them, you'll love it!

Everything was perfect and delicious! Our food came out fast, which was great because we were starving! 😉
