The rude lady (anyone who’s been there knows exactly who I’m talking about) gives us all anxiety. She is the rudest customer service industry worker we have ever come across. It’s mind boggling how she still has a job. I have no idea how she’s still employed. The food is good, and this place would be amazing, but she completely ruins it.

Great lunch at an old time bakery. We had beef pastys and bakery cinnamon buns for dessert. Excellent, we will be back.

Comfort food Mac n Cheese with bacon is totally awesome purchased pasties they are fresh baked I got them for supper can't wait to try them super friendly owners employees too Great place reasonably priced

Went in to pick out a cup and saw a huge selection. Very impressed!! Their donuts are absolutely delicious also. There were too many other treats that I wanted to try. I had to get out of there quick before I bought too many sweets.
They have some of the best baked goods and food for lunch 😋
came here bc we stopped for gas and saw the most tantalizing billboard and it was incredible northern michigan culture and the prices were soooo good. got the cherry cappuccino bc i thought it would be funny and bad but it’s actually super yummy FIVE STARS
Gooddale’s bakery is a hidden gem to those who don’t know about it already. We were blessed to discover them as we were looking for a cake for our October 2019 Wedding. After sampling their cake, it was not a hard choice. Everything they make is made with a passion for baking and made with love! We make a point to take a trip to the bakery as often as we can, cookies, cakes, doughnuts, fudge, food and more, everything is fantastic. I was happy to pick one up today and it is as delicious as the first time I tasted it. Thank you for sharing your passion and love with us! I call them legendary 🫂♥️!
The baked goods here have been wonderful the three times I've stopped in when traveling to Grayling. However, you really should get rid of the extremely rude employee everyone is talking about in these reviews. She's horrible to customers and really ruins the experience for your business! Terrible.
I Decided to surprise my kiddos and take them to have a doughnut from our local bakery. I couldn’t believe the very rude attitude from the lady behind the counter. My children used there manors, and asked for a their specific doughnuts. Instead of saying sorry we are all out of those, she snapped at my son and said “we don’t have those!”with attitude and rolled her eyes and acted as if we were an inconvenience to deal with. She reacted the same when my daughter couldn’t make her mind up fast enough. I understand it was busy and it was congested in the small space, but you should be happy you were busy and had customers in the store. If you hate your job that much, quit. sadly I will not return to Goodale’s for anything in the future and if i was a new person coming into the store for the first time, I would be really disappointed. I would rather go to family fare where they actually smile and treat like a person.
