Coffee was delicious! My husband said the cookie he got was the best he'd ever had. We also got some treats for the dogs! Very friendly staff!

Best breakfast I've had in a long time. The hippe hash with brisket was excellent. Well worth their reasonable pricing.
My husband and I came here for the first time on a Sunday. We enjoyed walking around to look at all of the artwork while we waited for our drinks and food. We had delicious breakfast sandwiches and enjoyed a cozy atmosphere while getting some work done. We'll be back!

Best Flatbread pizza EVER!!
I have been here many times with pretty great service and food. This particular time however I waited 45 minutes for a single sandwich. I watched people who ordered after me get their food eat and leave before I even received my food. I went up twice and was told they were “working on it” I was offered an apology for the wait, but no discount, free coffee or anything. At least a refill on my coffee would have been nice since I did receive it a few minutes after I placed my order (would have been nice to have it with my meal) food was very tasty, but I would be hesitant to come here again if I had somewhere to be.
Nice quiet place to have coffee or breakfast/lunch. You can sit outside on the sidewalk, or inside at a table or couch. The food has always been good. The staff is always friendly. Its a nice small town spot.
Wonderful sandwiches, the service was slow but we weren't in a hurry so it wasn't a problem. We sat outside so didn't get to look around at the art and crafts, maybe next time.
Whenever I go up north, I take a short detour to stop at Root Cafe. It's such a charming space, and the food is very fresh and delicious - and very reasonably priced. I always get the empanadas.
Customer service was exceptional. The cook served my plate table side. Always a pleasure.

A beautiful little “nook” located in downtown Fenville. We decided to have lunch here after a neighbors suggestion regarding this place — she was absolutely correct! The food was DELICIOUS! The bimbipab salad was executed perfectly which is a rare thing! Next time we visit Saugatuk we will definitely hop over to this place for a bite to eat!
Ordered two flatbreads, and 50 minutes later we went to check the status and they said they never put our order in. Got a refund and left, don’t plan on coming back.
Really good food with a charming atmosphere. Has a cute gift shop attached that features local artists' wares. Would have loved to been there when someone was oozing the pottery wheel but still a great experience.
