Great place to stop in for breakfast or lunch...hospitable and good food...
It's your last night on the island for a few weeks and it's Friday.. what are you gonna eat? Fortunately for us, we opted for the Hog Heaven pizza and breadsticks from Dalwhinnie and we were blown away! So amazing as always, this place never disappoints! If you're lucky enough to be on this island, don't pass this place up, just sayin'.

If you're looking for fresh, up-and-coming food on the Island, this is the place! Young faces can be seen working, and words like béchamel are used in the kitchen. Enjoy an espresso, latte, or hazelnut coffee. You can even spice it up with a splash of bailey's, with their full liquor selection. Enjoy!
If someone tells you that biscuits and gravy isn't a meal, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life. And if you want to know where to find the best biscuits and gravy your tasters have ever latched on to, look no further than this charming deli on an island. Sure, they have delectable sandwiches and your peepers will lock on to the fresh made pastries...but don't be silly and not order the biscuits and gravy. Oh, and get 'em with frog eyes (two over easy eggs on top). You're welcome.
Love love love Dalwhinnie! Highest possible recommendation for the chicken and waffles! Try to get there ahead of the ferry…after that it gets full and much louder.

I like the self serve utensils and self-bussing of tables. Food was great and employees were great. Coffee super.
Always busy in the mornings, the food is great and the staff is wonderful, the breakfast sandwiches are amazing.
Food was amazing... service first day went there great second time we went right before leaving the isle rude and snive about me asking for my drink. Hate even writing it cause food was amazing over priced but that isle life. 🤷🏻♂️

Good selection of food and nice atmosphere. Beautiful location and wonderful staff. Good prices for quality and experience. Try the port st James sandwich..it's delicious. Our go to sandwich it's one of a kind! Thanks 👍🏼
Came here two days in a row and want more! The salmon and lox and bloody Mary were so good that I came back for the avocado toast and mimosa. All very well made and fresh. The whole menu looks amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful and accommodated my niece with food allergies.
One of the best places for breakfast or lunch on the island, hands down!! Friendly staff and delicious food that is perfectly portioned and fairly priced.
THE PIZZA IS AMAZING. They have great baked goods selection and a good assortment of canned beers. The employees and management were very friendly and courteous.
We can't get enough of this place! Excellent food and always service with a smile.
