Food was unique and enjoyable. We really liked our experience.
Honestly the breakfast was not good, the waffles sandwiches tasted pretty bad I’m sorry but honestly if they added sausage, eggs, and bacon all together with some seasonings then it be really good.

Urban vibe, great Java & health conscience, delicious breakfast quesadilla. Sometimes out of items like decaf, creamer/milk options. Sometimes unpredictable service so hold onto your customer number & receipt. I understand from friends that call ahead orders are more reliable. Overall great coffee joint!
Edit: the management of this establishment had actually put in a grill cover with ventilation and the overall atmosphere is so much better now. I can have a conversation without fearing a headache from grilled onions now… thanks everyone! ——— 5 stars is attainable if the following area is looked into! My wife and I frequent Cafe Rica and we agree, it's one of the best! I do have one criticism, and it does not have to do with the food or drink that is served. Please add some sort of ventilation system to the kitchen area! I love walking in and smelling the amazing food that is being prepared, but something that often detracts from extended stays is the eye-burning sensation and mild headaches we get when there is a lot of food being prepared. I noticed that the grill area does not have any outside ventilation (if there is, it is not sufficient), which attributes to this and also causes the entire room to get quite hazy. If that could be accomplished, the end experience would be that much better - and cleaner. 🙂

Love this place! It's my go to for lunch, but their breakfast and cocktails look amazing too! I hope to try some of the other things sometime.
Love supporting this safe space! Not the biggest fan of the latest art show display which I feel contains a few pieces that glorify smoking, but I do really love the way they celebrate local artists of color and especially loved the prior shows this past year. Also appreciate their proud support of the LGTBQ community and endorsement of other good human rights causes. The coffee is amazing and the menu is well curated. We take all our family and friends here when they are visiting. Wish it was open later, but I understand it's not a huge metropolitan area and probably can't support later hours, so we just try to buy extra cans of cold brew to have at home on demand. ;) ALSO would totally purchase more Cafe Rica goods or things made by local artists, if there were more retail in the shop. Jus' sayin.
Fun little local upscale breakfast place. Super environmentally conscious and great for clean, local eating. Could use gluten free food selections that include carbs.

Awesome experience! Emersive art where you can speak with the artists one on one. Highly recommend their quarterly art show! Come for the art, stay for the drinks! (Because these guys are serious mixologists)

Food and coffee are always a 10/10! I come in here at least once a week and they always remember me and help me decide which drink to get when I’m indeceisive 😝
