Owners, Change your posted hours of operation. If your "kitchen closes at 1:30" you close at 1:30 not 2. No one is going there at 1:40 to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere, theyre going there to eat. In fact you should probably make your close time the time when you stop accepting customers, because that's by definition when you close.

Staff is excellent, food is above average as well. Ordered the Big Dan w/2 eggs over easy, bacon, bfast potatoes, sourdough toast, & blueberry pancakes. Also ordered cold brew cookies & cream and a cinnamon cold brew. Much of this meal was obviously farm fresh & cooked on a flat top griddle, just like it's supposed to be!

Eat before you come if you come for a weekend breakfast. You'll be here until lunch. After being open for more than a year, you would think they would have dialed it in already and fixed their kitchen issues. I STILL am waiting an hour for a bfast burrito and some eggs. Theres two other tables that are here who have been waiting longer than us. This is ridiculous. Come during the week. Stay away on the weekends. I've FINALLY leanred my lesson. Finally! Fresh flavorful breakfast in SW MI!!! After moving here last year from Chicago, finding a good breakfast spot with avocado, fresh fruit, lattes, iced coffee etc. has been a challenge. Enter The Local!!!! Everything we had was fantastic and I can't wait to go back to try more things. Only issue we had was on a weekend the wait was over 45 minutes. I get why though! Yahoo!! 🎉🎉🎉

The food was decent, packaged nicely, and hot. I filled up more on the toast than the under seasoned eggs and potatoes. I asked for extra crispy bacon, but was unable to eat it because it was not cooked to my liking.

Service was incredibly slow, even though they were not that busy. The simplicity of our order shouldn’t have caused it to take that long. The food was okay/standard, prices weren’t terrible. But for being an out of the way place, the wait was too long. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

Husband's omelet was delicious. My biscuits and gravy had good flavor, but the consistency of glue. The biscuits definitely weren't fairly fresh either

Food is absolutely amazing, one of the best breakfest places around. The service is okay. The person we always get as a server doesn't ever seem happy to be there, but the food is great!

Super cute addition to the teeny tiny town of Baroda. Staff is always friendly and accommodating of our dietary requests and ingredient substitutions. There is a wide array of options for both sweet & savory palates—We specifically love the breakfast burrito and big fluffy pancakes.

This is literally the place to go, it's a tight squeeze of sunshine for breakfast! Whomever the cook is ...they actually are a cook! And it actually has real options for drinks, the matcha latte was perfect, one day wish to try the healthy smoothies! Stop by and eat then head to Grand Mere beach with your drink to walk the beach! Definitely a great place because I wrote this review having only been there one time today for the first time! So thankyou!

So happy we found this hidden gem in the lovely little town of Baroda. The food was amazing 🧇 The hostess and waitress could not have been more pleasant and efficient. If you are in the area make sure you stop in for breakfast or lunch 🥗
