Ordered an iced lavender matcha latte and it was perfection in a cup! The staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
Pulled off the highway after googling "best espresso in Worcester". Haven't tried the others but this place was well worth the detour! The cafe itself is really well-designed, warm, comfortable...great vibe. Service was first class and the espresso was really delicious. Simply love the fact that they still offer ceramic cups and glasses for in house drinks. Wound up buying the beans, as well.
Best coffee I’ve ever had …
I usually really enjoy the coffee here but the service today was disappointing. Aside from the uncomfortable fake kindness of the barista, they got my coffee order completely wrong, which is fine, we all make mistakes. But I paid $8 for an avocado toast and got… this? Come on y’all.
Wonderful coffee roaster tucked back in a historic building. They offer a variety of house roasted coffee beans (Mexico and Sumatra Gayo are my personal favorites). I had the opportunity today to also enjoy a latte and coffee crumble (cinnamon) muffin - both of which were quite good. As I spent the day working in their spacious side room, I also enjoyed lunch of a Turkey cheddar sandwich which was served on a hearty rustic bread perfectly toasted. A hot cup of lemon ginger tea and, later, Egyptian spearmint tea, rounded out my culinary visit! Will surely return!
Delicious coffee and great selection of beans to buy for home. I also tried seasonal special maple latte - yum! And lox bagel was incredible
Very, very poor service. Walked out before ordering. Barista never acknowledge us and he wasn't busy. He didn't even look at us while he prepared a pour over right in front of us. Then he helped the one customer that came in after us and still didn't look at us. We decided 10 minutes was enough time to waste in here.
Always a great coffee
Ordered the Peppermint Patty and Olive bread with whipped feta. It was delicious and I'm not even a fan of olives. The latte was perfect not overly sweet or minty.
You will not be disappointed here! Good, friendly service, hot chocolate is real hot, seating is good and the location, location, location is spot on!
Roasted bean quality, selection, and freshness are all lacking. For calling themselves a “roaster” I was unpleasantly surprised by how little roasting they do. They have a table packed with a large variety of roasted beans. When I visited, many of these bags were over a month old and should have been tossed long ago. The Largo Espresso is an utter disaster. It’s oily and severely over roasted. 20 grams of ground Largo producing 30 grams in 30 seconds yielded a sour and acidic shot. On a positive note if you’ve been avoiding a full breakdown and cleaning of your grinder running this trash through will force your hand. They do offer another espresso blend but I wasn’t brave enough to try it as it was dated July and I was there in September.
Our favorite coffee in Massachusetts. Skip the baked goods and get a freshly made breakfast sammy.
Great coffee and a super pleasant environment for working. Their large size is definitely large! Good value for the dollar at modern cafe prices. Awesome spot in Worcester.
I love this cafe! It has very much of a local, sustainable vibe to it. The staff are all very friendly, and the food and drink are delicious. There is a large space with books lining the walls through a set of doors from the drinks bar where you can get a quiet spot to do work or read. This is my go to coffee shop to get work done or for a little self care time.
Great coffee and nice selection of vegan cookies and muffins.
As someone who is a coffee fanatic I always look for some good cafes. I found the acoustic Java located near the college and ended up finding this one after my fiancé got her hair done which is located in the same building. The coffee is SO good. The customer service is 10/10. They know your name, they converse and are always so nice. The food is also really good. If I could give this place more stars I would cause it is the best coffee in Worcester perhaps even Massachusetts.
I visited Acoustic Java on a Monday afternoon which may explain my terrible experience there. It was completely empty when I came and started to look at their extensive menu and atmosphere. A few regulars came in and while I waited in line…and waited because chitchatting with regulars seemed like a priority. Then I asked some standard questions for which I got some vague passive aggressive answers and when I asked about what’s in a sandwich the barista just pulled out a menu and turned around to chat with regulars. No explanation, no recommendations, no small talk, less than subpar customer service. Then another barista proceeded to take an order from a person behind me in line at which point I just felt like a burden and left. The book selection was one you’d find at second hand stores, the art seemed overpriced, and the tea was hidden in a corner where they tried to sell you more overpriced things like shirts and bags. The chairs are all hard top so you won’t be comfortable here. But the music was good though!
As great as this is, buy a pound of local coffee...get a free any size coffee! So worth it.
This place is so cute and always good. The coffee and pastries are delicious. The employees here are very nice too. I went recently and had the most exemplary customer service from an employee named Kiernan. I was there with three young children and he made sure to underheat their hot chocolate. He also held the door for me coming in and carried my drinks out to my car for me. Go here for great coffee, atmosphere, and service.
Really good coffee and a nice place to chill. Will definitely return when going through the area again.
