Got a really weird vibe from this place when I visited with my nonbinary friend. We definitely weren't made to feel welcome.
Had a fruit salad and a quiche with lettuce and both were excellent, coffee was good too
Great breakfast, prepared to order. Wonderful service. Easy parking.
Cozy warm mellow spot for a light breakfast
Great ambiance and there was music on Sunday
Went in to old beautiful place for a drink and an appetizer. A scant . and when a say “scant” tequila - $25 , yes not a typo . And a skimpy eggplant app- $16….. are you kidding me? I can’t comprehend these prices as (2) drinks pay for a bottle! mind boggling
Sunday night at Fox and Crow was a highlight of our Wellfleet weekend. Three of us ordered an assortment of offerings, from the veggie mezze plate, to burgers and cioppino.Every dish was farm to table quality, casually but beautifully presented, and delicious. Our server was friendly and “on it”. Delightful live Irish music only added to the warm ambience. A must return!
Live music on Sunday evening created a wonderful lively atmosphere and the food was spectacular! Farm to table vibe with locally sourced ingredients and dishes that are prepared with care and creativity. The vegetable mezze plate was particularly delightful. Will definitely be coming again!
an Irish Pub atmosphere with live music, no one was dancing, but the place was packed.
Not sure why, but I could smell sewage in the parking lot which was worse in the ladies room… the smell was still there when were sat at our table.. Just not so pronounced…the menu is minimal…. Not worth a return trip….
Excellent food, great service, unbeatable atmosphere. Great spot for locals and visitors alike in a wonderfully restored historic building.
So local, so delicious! Truly a special spot!!! Looking forward to cold winter nights at the bar. 10/10 recommend‼️
45 minutes to make 2 tiny $15 average sandwiches. Won't be coming back again anytime soon. Reply to the restaurant: - Yes. I talked to 2 servers. None of them offered any type of gesture. "Sorry" was the best we got. I still tipped. - It was dine in. And after 45 minutes, i asked for the food to go, because we had 2 babies and they don't handle that long of a wait with no food easily. - The sandwich was something with ham and eggs on a ciabatta or dare i say half a ciabatta?
My experience there was not the best coffee was cold water was warm and my meal came on 3 separate plate my mimosa was filled with plup
Nice environment and pleasant service, but we felt like it was a bit overpriced. $5 for a self-serve coffee was unexpected.
Had an excellent dinner the Fox and Crow! The bartender told us they recently opened in their new location, and it really does have a great vibe. Everything we ordered was great. Excellent espresso martinis, cod croquettes, fish sandwich, and spicy chicken sandwich! Service was a little slow as they were still figuring it out, but everyone was kind and gracious. Great experience overall!
Breakfast sandwich was good, but the waitress was a bit rude when I asked for goat cheese to be left off. She asked if it was an allergy which I appreciated, but when I told her no it was just a preference she seemed offended. She then proceeded to tell me the kitchen would be upset if she put the order in with the missing ingredient, and that the sandwich was 'meant to be with all the ingredients'. I said again that I would prefer it minus that one ingredient and wasn't trying to make any substitutions. My friend I was with asked to copy my order and the waitress again curtly said 'you really need to try it how it comes. Trust me'. It was an uncomfortable situation to have to repeatedly ask for what we wanted and getting pushback. I can appreciate an opinion or suggestion, but don't tell me I'm making a mistake when I order food the way I do, or make a comment when you check back to see how everything came out.
Great dinner menu, fantastic cocktail list, reasonably priced (for what it is), nice outdoor dining area and good service.
Extremely slow and lackluster service, middling food. There are so many great options in wellfleet, I’m kicking myself that we wasted a dinner here.
Our first date night since welcoming our daughter to the world was amazing. We sat at the bar and absorbed the atmosphere. Theresa took wonderful care of us, made delicious drinks and served some of the best food we've had in Wellfleet. We had the charcuterie board (more than enough for the two of us) and split two pizzas. The dough was airy with a crisp undercarriage, the toppings were fresh and the cheese had the perfect snappy pull. They have a carefully and intelligently chosen assortment of local beers, matching their wine selection. We had one of their rotating special cocktails, a blood orange delicacy, that made for an excellent start to our experience. We finished the night, instead of having dessert, with a delicious espresso martini (or 2). I highly recommend this establishment for an all around wonderful evening.
