Good cappuccino, small space, usually quiet. Excellent place to catch up on reading.

The employee taking my initial order failed to write down that I requested/showed pictures of a naked frosted design, so I didn’t receive what I envisioned and they weren’t really accommodating in offering to fix it for me. She also stated they couldn’t do a funfetti flavored cake, even though it’s listed on their website as an option.. luckily, the cake and frosting itself was very yummy, but I just wasn’t overly impressed with their service level.

Very expensive. And the help are not that friendly. Not worth going to.

Cakes look great but it’s all fondant frosting and the cakes themselves nothing great. The cupcakes are huge but greasy and like lead. Nice physical place and had no issues with service but the cakes and cupcakes look great but really don’t taste good.

Others have brought treats to work to share from the Bean Counter, but this was my first time going there myself. Such a cozy cafe! The staff were pleasant, and helped detective all the wonderful treats. The peanut butter/chocolate layer cake was wonderful. Just the right size for a treat, not too large, not too small. My wife had the the vegan oatmeal whoopie pie, and found it to be delicious and filling as well. The coffee was rich and flavorful. It was a delight to have a warm treat on a cold winter morning.

First, wasn't impressed with the pies except for the GF pecan. I was told by family it was delicious. Second, when I went to pickup the pies after waiting 22 minutes in Rte. 9 traffic I was told the pies went delivered yet from their other facility. Not even a call to let us know they weren't their and we would be notified when they were. WASN'T HAPPY!!!! Had to go all the way back again!!!!!

After reading multiple good reviews about this place We ordered a red velvet cake for a birthday! Must say I wasn’t happy for what we paid for! We paid 52$ for a cake and the taste was so disappointing! The look was beautiful but the taste was not what we expected! The buttercream was so sweet and the sponge super dense and stodgy! Would never recommend their red velvet cake to anyone!

I ordered 3 lemon tarts and I have to say the were the worst I ever had and paid about $19.00 for something that tasted very old and not knowledgeable made. 😞

Using the Bean Counter Bakery was one of the easiest wedding decisions we made! From the initial contact to the tasting to our actual day, Alice was so amazing to work with. They were so wonderful and flexible when we had to switch our wedding date due to the pandemic. They let us do multiple cupcake flavors and were so accommodating to our gluten free/dairy free guests. The cupcakes were AMAZING! Everyone commented on how delicious they were, which was telling by the fact that there were none left. Alice was always quick to respond, professional and a joy to work with. I would 100% recommend booking the Bean Counter Bakery for your wedding or any event!

Ordered a cake for my hubby’s birthday, what I choose on the website was different from what the gave me. Cake tasted so bad I was better off going to market basket. Ended up throwing the whole cake out, even the kids didn’t eat the cake.

I ordered a gender reveal cake after reading all of the great reviews for this company. After multiple back and forth calls about my order accurately being placed, they assured me they had the correct order. My doctor had to call multiple times to verify that they had the correct gender. After talking to the owner, I was told they did. Come day of the gender reveal party, with multiple family memebers traveling from different states, we cut the cake to find a WHITE inside, leaving us wondering whether we were having a girl or boy. I laughed. With the poor customer service I experienced throughout this process I was not surprised at all by this outcome. On the plus side…. at least they didn’t put the wrong color inside…

Great cafe with plenty of parking on Route 9 eastbound on the Shrewsbury/Worcester line. Had an excellent coffee au lait here.
