The first time I threw away pastries from a bakery. The Boston Creme cupcake was dry and bland. The Mocha cake was also dry and fell apart when we attempted to eat it. The peanut butter bar was the only saving grace....delicious! Perhaps an offday for Beth's. I hope so as i would love to try this place again one day.
Delightful bakery and coffee shop! We loved our pastries and the beautiful old building. We will definitely return. The staff is very nice as well ❤️
My Mom wanted to come here multiple times while visiting, she was very fond of the bran muffins. Great place to visit while in Sandwich.
A quaint spot for lunch or tea and bakery treats. Enjoyed it immensely.
I really liked the great place, we came here by chance while passing through a hockey tournament with children and were satisfied with the quality food and the polite and pleasant cafe staff! The cafe is very beautiful, original decor, everything is neat and clean, the atmosphere is cozy and friendly.
Coffee was good, location was great right in the historic center.
I show up a couple times of year here. My favorite time is around Christmas it's always nicely decorated in holiday decor. I stopped by today as I was close by and loved one of their local coffee blends. Staff is always friendly, today was no exception. Ambience is a draw for me and this quaint little place has it. The building is full of history and its design reflects that!
Wayyyyyyyyy over priced for the portion size!! A couple of pastries and 2 drinks came out to 22.50 whatttttttt
Nice food and friendly service, 1 star deducted cause the prices on the board hadn't been updated and we found ourselves paying more than we expected
Beths is a lovely little sandwich, soup, and breakfast shop in a very picturesque location (it used to be an old church, and has a very old-New England feel to it). The service is friendly and efficient, the food comes fast (without being "fast food"), the sandwiches and soups are delicious, and when the weather is as nice as it was today, outdoor seating. We enjoyed a relaxed meal on a quiet street, but sitting indoors would have been just as nice.
Beautiful little cafe with a bountiful selection of baked goods. The croissant and apple turnover were great. The other items we bought, the cinnamon roll, lemon and cranberry bars and pumpkin roll were flavorless and just tasted like white sugar. Disappointing. I really wanted to love this place.
Fantastic little bakery! Delicious cinnamon roll and Danish! Staff was very friendly! Bought a few desserts to snack on later.
Absolutely wonderful Cafe tucked away here in Sandwich! I had the quiche lorraine, haddock chowder, and gingerbread Joy coffee. The portion size felt very appropriate. The food was delicious! The coffee was a wonderful beverage to rinse all the food down with! The employee taking my order recommended the gingerbread Joy coffee and I couldn't be happier with it! Unfortunately I was too full to save room for dessert so I'll have to come back and try that sometime soon!
Best little Cafe! Great lunch and snack options.
Very cute cafe. We always stop in for some of their amazing veggie quiche and salad when we are on the Cape.
Ho-hum fare costing around $11-13 per sandwich (in 2022). Sandwiches lack flavor (pretty bland chicken/tuna salads) and made with grocery store level sliced bread. Pastries seem to look better than they taste... agree w previous poster who said pastries only seem "lively but don't live up to visual expectations. Not too slow though! Final thought: lots of waste (plastic iced coffee containers, cardboard takeout boxes, etc) being used. A move towards encouraging dining in (and then using re-usables) and compostables seems in order.
Friendly service in a bakery as they depict them in the movies. Some people stay for a short while, many enter to order and take out. We had a very good tasting muffin and a delicious strawberry smoothie. We’ll definitely go back :)
A must stop, very fine place to eat and friendly staff 👍
My boyfriend and I each got an espresso drink, they were on the less sweet side which we both like so we thought they were really good! We had to make the incredibly hard decision on which baked good and couldn't agree so we both got our own individual. I was obsessed with my raspberry pastry and he inhaled his pumpkin cheesecake so we highly recommend either one :) We also split a panini which also was delicious. If we lived in the area, we would be regulars it was all so good!!
I had a pot of tea and cranberry a scone and the scone was amazing high, moist and a blend of sweet and tart, they were wonderful and I love the atmosphere, very cute
