Quality house-made food. Clever healthy options.
Traveling from out of town, decided to stop by for a quick lunch. Ordered the Pork Sandwich off of the lunch menu and felt AWFUL after eating it. Was delicious going down, a little messy and the pork was a little chewy. After 30 minutes, my boyfriend (who also ordered the pork sandwich) and I started to get food poisoning and we felt EXTREMELY ill. We plan on not returning to this restaurant ever, if you do decide to stop by this restaurant do not order the pork sandwich.
A properly made cappuccino, good textures and well balanced. Soups, sandwiches, chocolate chip cookies were all well executed and flavourful.
Visiting from out of town, stopped by the first day and got a cup of coffee and a sandwich, came back about 5 more times in about 8 days. Really wonderful food, drinks, and most of all, service. Best cup of house brew I’ve had in some time (with oat and almond creamer available, too!), breakfast sandwich was amazing, pork sandwich (I tried both ways) was *excellent*, the Mexican Donut was so uniquely delicious, and the chocolate chunk cookie was obviously made with love. Thanks so much and I hope to be back in town soon!
Low key breakfast joint with a fantastic breakfast sandwich that somehow lives up to all the positive reviews. Friendly service, great selection of fresh bread and pastries, and a small, but diverse menu to suit any taste. Easy parking. Worth a 20 minute detour if you're passing through in the morning; we'll definitely return!
Very nice cafe. We all loved our meals and especially the pastries! The only downside is that everything was served in a takeout container. We were dining in and would’ve been happy to use washable dishes to cut down on the waste.
Love the open Cafe ZEN at Sunbird! Delicious apple chauson with a nice Latte. Friendly service. Delightful Orleans experience.

I was torn between 2 and 3 stars. My reasons are simple. The only reason I went with 3 was because the food is decent. Although imo the tacos using a corn tortilla is a poor choice, but I get why they chose it. The pork sandwich is decent, and my fiance loves the cappuccino. (Fyi, I think the cappuccino is around 6 oz.) I would give it 2 stars based on: 1) very little places to sit or wait for food. 2) selection is ridiculously small - like 3 lunch options. 3) COST: a huge factor. The fact that a cappuccino, 2 sandwiches, and an ice tea was $40 is outrageous. If I didn't have a gift card, I would have walked right out. It obviously caters to an upscale, rich clientele, and has a "trendy, hipster" vibe that seems like they are trying way too hard. It is not a good spot for families or kids. I would say really only adults, and parties of 1 or 2. All in all, there are many other places to go that are a much better choice imo. As a local, I think that is my 1 and only time I'll be going here.
We liked this place so much for breakfast that we ended up coming back for lunch the next day. Good place for coffee and really delicious food as well, with great atmosphere.
Delicious coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and desserts in a super hip cafe. Definately worth the stop!
Everything tasted amazing! We had the bird breakfast sandwich and breakfast tacos. Also tried the Mexican chocolate donut! Also forgot to add I bought a bag of coffee beans that they ground for me. That came in handy during our camping outing :)
Do you ever drive by and wonder why the line is so long? Sunbird makes the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. I’ve actually never had food here that I didn’t like but it’s that sandwich that has me coming back - I sun griddled cheese for the bacon and it is just 🧑🍳💋! If you want a gluten free option, go for the breakfast tacos.
Summer smash burger was delicious. Clearly an environmentally conscious establishment. Also has merch with neat 70s style designs
Great food. The local green salad is amazing, very fresh. Good atmosphere. We can’t wait for you to get back to using real plates and cups for people eating there! It makes food better and would be a lot less wasteful!
In my opinion this is one of the very best coffee shops in Massachusetts, I've come here almost every day this summer and the excellent service and quality of food is unwavering. Welcoming environment, great music and delicious coffee. <3
Lovely establishment with the Only Good Coffee in the area. Great little bakery, amazing breakfast sandwich, and nicely done grain bowls/salady stuff. The world needs more places like this.
I have the quinoa porridge every chance I get. And in the colder months their soups are amazing!!

Visiting Cape Cod and we stumbled upon this gem! Everything we ordered was great: tacos, yogurt parfait, and an open faced beet, blue cheese, and cherry sandwich. All of their takeout was served with compostable products as well.
