Walking into the Hanover,MA Slacktide Shop on May 2nd 30 minutes before closing, I ordered two small hot coffees. When I tried to add milk or half and half, the containers were empty. When I bought the containers to the counter for refills, I was handed a gallon of milk and a container of half and half and the girl walked away. Then the coffee was luke warm. I asked to have it microwaved and there wasn't one. When I asked for a hot cup of coffee, I was told that that was the end of the pot and if I wanted a cappuccino with boiling water added I could have it. What??!! I said no thanks and sat with my friend to have my luke warm coffee. Then several minutes later I jumped when the server slammed two hot coffees onto our table and mumbled something and walked away. Unbelievably bad customer service and rudeness!!!! I will never go back!
Counter ordering was quick and easy. They accept credit cards. They also had canned coffee for take away and bags of coffee beans. There's plenty of seating available in the lower level of the shop. The shop is also connected to Levitate clothing, surf and skate shop. You can easily walk around and browse what they have too.
Donuts and coffee are very good! And bought a nice sweater.

The absolute best when it comes to coffee, customer service, and overall satisfaction. I’ve been going to slacktide regularly for about 3 years and it feels like a second home. They don’t just sell food and drink, they offer a sense of community and friendship.

Slacktide is an awesome community within the community! Great people who are always super friendly and inviting! The coffee is always good and the place is always clean! They do creative doughnuts and food specials every now and then which are nice and refreshing! Only thing I would love to see here is a bit more on the breakfast side on a regular basis! Recommend for any local or anyone visiting!

Great neighborhood coffee shop! The staff roasts their coffee locally (and are super knowledgeable!) -- always a great place to stop by! STCR is attached to Levitate, and the turn can be easy to miss. Give them a try, especially in the summer!

The owner travels the world to source the best green coffee beans, then ships them back to his shop where he roasts them for you
Haven't had a bad thing here.. Great vibe and Great PPL keeping Marshfield a cool place to be... Just wish the Marshfield location was bigger

Coffee is great here, coffee beans are pretty great as well and from an eclectic mix of countries. I’ve had a donut here that was pretty good too but I’m partial to coffee above all else. I’ve also been to the SlackTide in Prevetie’s in Pembroke and that location is just as good.
A great cute lil shop with lots of incredible choices and specials! The staff was super friendly and honestly everything about the place was perfect. Good music, good vibes, and good company. What could be better?
You're supposed to change your gloves after handling raw salmon, not just wipe them on a dirty rag and keep going. Almost puked when I saw a female cook doing this earlier, didn't get anything and won't be returning after seeing this level of ignorance.
