Great coffee spot! Nice staff, wifi, coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and has a market section with groceries.
The coffee here is delicious and you can get delicious deli sandwiches. Will visit again.
Nice to have a big comfortable place open in the winter.
The outside is beautiful!! Makes you want to go in. Inside is nicely set up but meat selection is two or three choices. State that they make fresh breakfast sandwiches.... they are made "fresh" in am & HEATED when ordered. The English muffin the sandwiches come on are a bit hard &.have no flavor. The bacon was very soggy :( Nice place but needs work on product.
Great sandwiches,I suggest the Pilgrim.
A great place to sit and visit, sip coffee and nibble on pastries. Very laid-back atmosphere.
Developing into a fab place to explore - the new wine bar is a 10+ ... well worth a visit to check out the many food/java offerings ... very clean and tidy .. comfortable indoor and outdoor seating available to enjoy that latte or whatever ...
Im a year round resident and used to go to Cape Roots for coffee every morning on my way to work. I stopped several months ago because of poor service. I tried it today and was again disappointed. Why is a large hot Latte coffee only filled half way? Why isn’t it hot? I’m tired of asking the server to make it hot and with more coffee. They make me feel like a cranky old person bothering them. At least at Dunkin their product is consistent.
Very nice newer & clean spot with parking. The young UMass history student at the sandwich counter was very pleasant & made me a delicious Italian sub(5stars).Cheescake with gooey toppings banana flavor was excellent.I found it frustrating that many items-local salts, chutnies & granolas were not labeled with prices & I checked many of each.Personally I do not buy items with out prices as it is awkward to ask the price,I’d rather just forego the item.one of the two counter girls was very pleasant-the other seemed inconvenienced. All in all a very good addition to town.
Great quick quality food and coffee. An every day stop when I'm here !
Workers made snarky comments as we ordered. Breakfast sandwiches and coffee drinks were below average.
Awful experience. When I got to the front of the line and asked to order a few sandwiches when I told her what I wanted I was greeted back with a snarky laugh like it was an inconvenience (3 orders of avocado toast) we spent nearly $60 on food and coffee and half my order was missing and the food was all cold. When I asked for the missing items I again got snarky remarks like I was an inconvenience. I was hoping to find a nice coffee shop that was better than the normal Dunkin’s run but this was very disappointing.
William made me a great sandwich! The food is fresh and the coffee is very good — I would definitely recommend!
A welcome addition to Harwich Port!
After charging me for a drink, they didn't have it. Would not give a refund or credit.
They serve snowy owl coffee. And smaller lines then Chatham.
Tasty clam chowder.
Just had the #2 Baha Turkey club, but they were out of Turkey, so I went with Roast beef. A bit of a risk on my part, as Roast beef can be a hit or miss, but they nailed it!!! Melt in your mouth Roast beef, as good as it gets! I'm a discerning eater and I hold restaurants to high standards, as they should be. Nice market with quality foods available. My wife had the Lobster Roll and it was excellent.
I had never been here before, I'm a new year round local. I asked the girl ringing me up this morning what her favorite coffee was there and she cheerfully recommended something for me. A sugar free vanilla latte. I loved it! Thank you, Cape Roots. I will be back again soon.
We had the Pilgrim Sandwich. Another bust in terms of sandwich’s around the Harwich port area. Stuffing was mush and I don’t know if cranberry chutney was on it. Stuffing should not be the main ingredient of a sandwich. And if you’re going to put it in a sandwich at least make it fresh each morning. Come on, why is it so difficult to make a sandwich that you’d want to eat again. Boy, do we miss the Mason Jar!!
