Very nice small town place with friendly staff.
Waited 45 minutes for a to-go order of 2 sandwiches to be ready. If that TV wasn't there, and our fave place wasn't closed when we got there, we probably would have just left. Asha did a great job. 2 stars only for her. Not her fault kitchen was so slow.
Hey All. Two sisters is really good. Ladies are friendly and helpful. Ask about the Pistachio Bread. Out of this world. Not to mention regular menu items. Steaks tips with eggs, stuffed French toast and omelets. So good. Boun Appetite!
Katie and her staff have been doing a great and marvelous job ver Clean. You must try out her Yogurt parfait with fruit. IF The City of Gloucester was giving away awards for Halloween decorations. WOW come stop by, your in for a spooky treat. Xx. Oo Uncle Tony.
We have eaten here probably a dozen times and it has always been our go to for breakfast. Today was the last time we will eat here. The waitress was slow to take our order, and then the guy fixing the hinge on the bathroom door making a complete ruckus with his drill, was completely ridiculous. Why don’t you fix the bathroom door at some point that is not during your breakfast hours? To top it off we paid with both cash and credit card. The waitress was confused by this and insulted me for the hesitation in how I wanted the bill paid for. I left part of a tip on the credit card and then more was going to be left with cash from our party of 5. The waitress immediately insulted me about the amount of tip left on the credit card and slammed my receipt down on the counter. She made several more insulting comments. We still left her the remaining tip in cash that resulted in a total of a 20 percent tip, but I don’t really know why. I won’t step foot in there ever again. The foods ok, but I wouldn’t write home about it. There are plenty of other places to eat in this town. I’d go out of my way to go to the next town over if I had to. I don’t ever write reviews, but this ladies attitude is worthy of writing a bad review.
When I went to school at Auburn, Alabama, thirty-two years ago I was introduced to a breakfast dish that would become my favorite: biscuits and gravy. Since then, if I'm ever in a restaurant that makes it I have to try it. There are an almost limitless number of variations on the biscuits, the gravy, and the sausage in or out of the gravy. This morning I stumbled across Two Sisters in Gloucester, a spot loaded with locals, and found biscuits and gravy on the menu. Their biscuits and gravy was among the best I've ever had, from the Deep South to the Maine seacoast. The biscuits were thick and fresh, a perfect balance of moist and dry. Gravy was made with linguica, a Portuguese sausage that's spicy but not overpowering. Portion size was perfect and $7.25 price was very inexpensive. I also had two eggs and hash browns with peppers and onions for an extra four dollars. Coffee was very good. It appeared that one sister was the cook and the other was the server. Service was excellent. I look forward to returning and trying the fishcakes.
The woman here was disgustingly rude, I have never been greeted so poorly by any place in my life.
Extremely racist, they slammed the door on my brown child’s face and told us they were closed. They were not even close to closing hours and they let white people in right after us. So heartbreaking
