Wonderful food and coffee, and the nicest baristas. One of my favorite places around. ❤️
The ambiance is very cute. I like the place. However, they need to work on their coffee and muffins. I got a muffin, and it was probably 4-5 days old, it was horrible. I couldn’t eat it. The pastry was delicious though. I’ll probably continue to come here, and I hope I’ll change my review to 5 stars soon!
Very cute shop! Lots a natural light and good size tables if you plan to work for a bit on your laptop. The beef empanadas were so delicious! Flaky pastry and super tasty meat inside. I also got a dirty chai, which was delicious, not too sweet. Nice and hot served in a mug ☕️
Awesome coffee, pastries and atmosphere
Everyone on the staff is very friendly and professional. The coffee and food is very good.
Great little coffee shop, not far from the current end of the Cochituate Rail Trail. All the cookies, pastries, and pre-made sandwiches are on display in the case as you wait to order (which means it is pretty quick) - we haven’t really gone wrong with anything we’ve had. I’m more of a fan of their iced americano to the cold brew on a hot day.
Love the vibe in this cafe. It's also great to support a local business. They always have great music playing and it's a very relaxed atmosphere. The service is always great. Lots of different options to eat and drink.
Great vibe in the cafe! Lots of windows and natural light. Staff was really friendly too. Enjoyed an americano and Turkey croissant sandwich.
A cool location and felt pretty roomy inside. Service was slow and the food was okay. The hot chocolate was pretty good. There weren't too many parking spaces but one opened up right as I pulled in but I'd be prepared to spend time looking for parking when it's busy.
Love this place. Great coffee. Great vibe. Lovely people. Parking is difficult so be patient. It's worth it!
Blueberry danish snd cappuccinos are unbelievably good
Bought hot coffee and an egg breakfast sandwich. The coffee was good. The sandwich was... well imagine this: You're at a McDonalds at the airport. You order a McGriddle thats been sitting for a few hours. Before eating it, you drop it in a puddle in the bathroom. That's what this place's sandwich was like. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich may have been the single worst food item I have ever gotten at a coffee shop. The sandwich came in a foil wrapper. Premade egg patty. One single slice of slimy bacon. Soggy, tasteless, somewhat sweet for whatever reason. Completely inedible. If you are serving food this bad, just take it off the menu guys! I could leave a 1 or 2 star review but I have no real intentions of completely disparaging my local coffee shop, so I am going to leave it at 3 stars. I hope Saxonville Mills Cafe reads this review and removes their ungodly breakfast sandwich from their menu.
I came here while out running errands one morning; this is one of only a few independent coffee shops in the inner metro west so I was excited to try it. Being a coffee roaster in an old mill building it has a super cool vibe. Unfortunatly Coffee is just OK, it tasted almost Keurig esque in saturation and was also quite a bit too hot for ideal extraction, but service was nice and prompt. Parking also seems quite difficult with only a couple spots in the front, none in the street, and a few in a small lot diagonally across a very busy intersection that is in desperate need of some more cross walks, you need to use 2 cross walks on separate light timing to get here safely from the adjacent lot. Breakfast croissant was alright, seemed like fresh ingredients but it was still chilled in the center. I was a little disappointed in the food and drink, especially given the super cool space and vibe. I would still come here again if I'm in the area but there are many things this place could improve upon.
Great coffee and you have to try the espresso.
Very nice place, and I really enjoyed the quiche, like wow it was yummy! But they had literally nothing for my wife, she has food allergies and can't have gluten or lactose. So if you are looking for gluten-free / vegan / diary free you will have only a couple options (like literally two), and none of you or someone in your group needs both of those things.
Very, very weak coffee. The cortado tasted like water and milk, unfortunately. Service was sub-par and parking situation was a huge hassle to deal with.
The best Colombian coffee in town.
Parking was difficult. Don't even try to park out front, there's public parking across the busy intersection (that you will have to run across). Food was cold even though I asked for it hot. Ham, bacon and cheese croissant comes with extra stuff on it not mentioned in the menu, so I didn't know to ask for it without those things. Staff seemed like they just wanted me to leave. There was like 3 other people behind the counter not really doing anything. (The place was dead, so it's not like they had anything to do.) Coffee wasn't that great, and they make you pour your own stuff in it, so not like any other coffee place where you can order your coffee with milk, sugar, cream... Etc already put in. All I got was a sandwich and a small coffee and it was $9. Definitely not worth it. The only excellent part of this experience was the atmosphere of the place. Very cozy and cool. Plus they were playing an older Glass Animals song when I came in.
I’ve ordered a few times from here through door dash! The iced mocha with caramel is really good, the almond croissant & bagel with egg ham bacon cheese is also amazing! 10/10
favourite cafe for daily quick fix & ever filling pastries. Easy parking. Friendly staffs.
