You made me pay for someone else's stuff. I was in the line to buy a drink for myself, and this young guy at the register entered in the drinks for myself and some other person that was near me. I mean... could you ask first and not assume? I didn't want to be rude and paid for the entire thing, but I'm certainly not happy with this. I'm afraid to visit next time because I might get charged for food and drink for all other people in the line. Another thing. Matcha latte is too bland. Didn't taste much like anything. If Starbucks is way better than this, it's telling.
I ordered the matcha latte and it tasted like STRAIGHT MILK??? No matcha flavor was found. So expensive for something with absolutely no flavor. Incredibly bland and its quite literally the most disgusting cup of matcha latte I've ever had. Never order from here. Literally dyed milk.

Location is spacious with indoor and outdoor seating options…..Staff could be a little more welcoming.
Great coffee, super nice staff, nice space indoor and out. The pastries looked good too although I did not have any. There is construction so outside is a little loud but I just pretended I was in NYC 🤪
Thought I'd give this place a try after hearing raves about it. Did their standard drip coffee which was a little more expensive than usual but the coffee indeed was very very good! Friendly staff and very clean!
It was our first time here as we just had a lite lunch and wanted to get a good cup of coffee. It's a small place clean and staff is friendly and helpful. Had a regular coffee, mango nectar, a cinnamon coffee cake, and a lemon danish. Everything was delicious. I would return here again. Thank you to the Blue Bottle Coffee crew that gave us a nice experience.👍😊

Popped in the other day on the way back from a doctor visit. First time at Blue Bottle. I ordered a small decaf. "8 or 12 ounces?" the barista asked. I said 8 oz was fine. She rang up the order, which came to over $5 with tax. Five dollars for 8 ounces of coffee?? I said "thanks, but forget it" and went up the road to Starbucks, where I had a very excellent 12 oz Americano for nearly half the price of the 8 oz. at BB. You do the math.
The capuccinos are smaller and more expensive than Starbucks, but I like this place bc of the ample seating and bright lights. Not really a fan of their pastries, though, a bit on the drier side.

Great coffee - horrible environment - awful music, loud ventilation reflecting off hard surfaces - I pity the staff who have to work here!
I love this place, I found it recently. Enjoyed it a lot during my West Coast Visit. Taste and quality of every beverage is amazing. I am the fan of CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE + MOCHA Whole Milk. There’s no coffee place close to the experience of blue bottle. Go for your best coffee experience of life.
If you’re a black tea drinker. This place is not for you! I’m embarrassed I paid close to $6 for this diluted iced tea. It lacks taste and depth. Do better Blue Bottle Coffee!
