Great, relaxed, neighborhood cafe. The iced tea lemonades are refreshing and the iced lattes have a kick. Definitely check out the pastries! The almond croissant was (chef’s kiss).

I got food poisoning. I know it was from Glasser because that was the only thing I ate all day. I got breakfast from Glasser yesterday and I haven’t eaten anything since then because I’ve been so sick. I’ve never in my life gotten so sick from eating anywhere and I’d feel safer licking the bottom of my shoe than eating here again.

Seems like there may be a cult following here. I was sitting in my car out front of this coffee shop waiting to go into an appointment across the street and I saw the people coming in and out. I had to check out what was going on inside 😁. The vibe here is super cool! The staff is friendly and helpful. I love the "how's it going" welcome as you enter. It's so refreshing! Will definitely come back!

Beautiful cafe with trees around. I really enjoy this minimal style cafe. The coffee here is also nice, I ordered the Latte and Coconut Cake; and I enjoyed them. The latte here is so smooth and easy to drink. It’s a very good cafe to make a visit in Boston area.

I love small & mighty Glasser — the coffee, espresso and tea drink selections are top notch. I especially enjoy their seasonal beverages and their mocha (with house-made chocolate sauce) is one of the best I’ve ever had imho. The breakfast tacos with bacon and spicy mayo are so delicious, and you can make them vegan, too (one of several vegan menu options.) I almost always take my drinks & food to go, but they do have seating options inside and a sizable patio area out front in the warmer seasons. To top it all off, every single barista is friendly and knowledgeable, making everyone feel welcome and well taken care of. Definitely a testament to the ownership’s & management’s priorities. Don’t skip this place!

Glasser is my neighborhood coffee shop, and after 15 years of living in Boston, it is easily my favorite. While their coffee is exceptional, there are other independent coffee shops in Boston that serve a high-quality brew; the vibes are what put Glasser above the rest. The shop has a cute aesthetic and they play good music. There is a sidewalk patio in the warmer months. The staff are warm and welcoming, knowledgeable, accommodating and, above all, apparently content. I don't know anyone who works there personally, but having worked in coffee shops myself, I don't see any of the red flags that would indicate to me that staff are being treated poorly or stretched too thin. For example, pickup and delivery orders can be placed online through their website, on doordash, or caviar. They do not take orders over the phone, which is a good thing. This may seem small, and I am sure some consumers will find it irritating, but I appreciate a healthy boundary. Some businesses, especially large commercial coffee shops, will take orders with up to 4 separate apps in addition to the phone and in-person. It becomes unmanageable. You start to hear the phone and apps chiming in your dreams (well, nightmares) and, in my opinion, no service job should be giving its employees trauma. I guess the bar is kind of on the floor when you consider the state of service work these days, but Glasser seems to raise it up to where it ought to be. The day that I called to place an order and they told me I had to go on their website was the day that I fell in love with this business. These are just my observations. I could be wrong, but if that's the case, then their staff are real service industry pros, exuding confidence, competence, and warmth. Keep taking care of your crew! Happy, familiar faces are what make customers loyal for life.

One of those get a latte and go places. Very very annoying to sit there and enjoy your latte and breakfast. Loud punk rock music at 10 am, just isn’t for everyone. From pictures it looked a really nice refined establishment, and then you walk in and notice how out of place the music is. It’s like when you are sitting on the couch trying to relax, and 4 kids are running around going insane, painting walls, pulling your hair, laying down legos.

I would say the coffee quality is 5 stars. However, they only have one size for lattes and you have to walk to the Y to use the bathroom.

This place has made many an Oak Square morning. The ambiance is welcoming, the tea is unbelievable. Every meal is delicious.

Love the coffee and decor. But unfortunately I am not fond of their disorientating music playlist. It’s giving intense rock concert not chill cafe vibes that are needed.

The food is good and employees are tentative, but for me this place is all hype. The house roast is bitter with a fruity aftertaste, same roast was used for my cold brew which was even more bitter and unenjoyable. The cappucinos I had were half milk, barely any foam and the syrup sweetener had a chemical aftertaste.
