This place is gross - it gets so busy but I think more out of other peoples pure laziness rather than genuine amazing food offerings lol. I had a sausage and egg sandwich and the sausage didn’t seem to be well cooked and had rubbery lumps in it, i then also had the honey lavender latte after seeing another person post a photo of it and it tasted so bad, possibly because there seems to be only one person working on making drinks and she is overwhelmed and didn’t do it properly, not sure. The tiramisu and cookie croissants were just ok. Overall this place is extremely over rated and expensive, find somewhere else!
Lavender Honey Bee Iced Latte. Delicious afternoon pick-me-up!! 🤩 💜 🍯 🐝 ✨
Super cute. We came a little late in the afternoon and to my surprise they still had plenty of specialty croissants left. I enjoyed my croissant, they are very sweet! So if you're not into a lot of sugar I wouldn't recommend the fancy flavors. Coffee was perfect! And they have a bar !
Great cafe to lounge around, catch up with a friend, or get work done. The croissants are fresh and go perfectly with coffee. They also have a bar inside the café for alcohol beverages. The overall atmosphere is pleasant and you will find yourself wanting so stay a while. Do yourself a favorite and get the avocado toast with the ranchero sauce, it’s amazing!
Loved the food and beverages and the service from staff. My only thing about this place is they seem to block my VPN which makes it difficult to have my coffee and food while working which is why most people come here during the work day. Pity I have to find another coffee shop in the area since I need to work
Very nice atmosphere, great coffee. This is a foolproof great coffee spot
This place was really busy when I went so finding a place to sit was a bit of a challenge. The service was quick even though there was a decent line. I had the one of their stuffed croissants and a latte, the croissant was definitely big enough to share and delicious.
Came here to use my Hilton daily credit. The breakfast sandwich and butterscotch scone are my favorite. Chocolate Croissant is just so so.
We got two sandwiches from here and I was surprised when they took the sandwiches out of the display. We originally planned to eat in but there was no room so we took ours to go and ate nearby outside. The sandwiches tasted fine but they were cold and the bread on mine (the caprese sandwich) was a bit soggy. Nobody should be charging over $10 for a cold and soggy sandwich.
The croissants are super expensive $10 each, not worth the price, nothing different from the supermarket croissants! The bathrooms are overflowing with trash, so disgusting!. They pack the croissant in a plastic container, the music is so loud that is hard to hear the person at the cashier. Thank you very much but do not waste your money!!
I’m obsessed with the Tradesman. I went here 3 Friday afternoons in a row because the atmosphere is just perfect. It has this moody vibe that makes you want to get a hot drink and read a good book! The lattes are always incredible, especially if you get them in a mug for dine-in. I would like to see some more rotating flavors, but the current ones are nice. And the pastries? Incredible. Each of their loaves are flavorful and they’ll warm it up for you (just be sure to ask). The Tradesman is known for its stuffed croissants and they are soooo delicious. Very decadent and great for sharing. I’ve never seen the bar open, but it would be a good option for a post-work happy hour. Lastly, the service here is fantastic. The baristas make incredible drinks and the waitstaff is super nice! Even when I stayed a half hour past closing by accident, they didn’t rush to kick me out!
Best breakfast sandwich in Boston. Place has great style , food, coffee. Back corner of the Hilton
Why would you ever go to Starbucks again with a place as beautiful as Tradesman Coffee Shop. The decoration and atmosphere are a masterpiece
Tradesman is a cool joint on a side street. Their mocha has a rich, chocolate flavor that I feel a lot of mochas lack. The red velvet croissant was really great, though the breakfast sandwich was good, but not as good. I got it to go, and the packing is done well—the breakfast sandwich comes on a wrapper that keeps it warm, and let's you eat it on the go. It's pricy, so it's probably not gonna be a daily driver for people; it's a nice treat, though!
decaf cappuccino was delicious! love the vibe of this coffee shop. tried all three croissants and they were so good. Esp love the chocolate one and the cranberry rose.
Tradesman has been one of my favorite coffeeshops in Boston since I moved here. The front staff, and the manager Hiram, are always friendly and welcoming, and more than happy to give recommendations. The pastry options are excellent, and the seasonal coffee options are always delicious.
I needed a place to sit for a couple hours to kill time before my Amtrak train. It was a Saturday afternoon and I was struggling to find coffee shops open past 3pm. Luckily I came across Tradesman and stopped in to grab coffee. Outside of coffee they have beautiful looking croissants and other pastries available as well. I went with the iced butterscotch latte which was good! They have a good amount of seating as well and Wi-Fi to get work done. They have breakfast and lunch sandwiches as well so this is a good place to meet with friends as well. I’m glad I was able to try out tradesman!
Came for the filled croissants and got the red velvet one and it was okay; it was really large & filling but I think I’ve had better quality croissants before. The concept was cute, though. A croissant is quite expensive, almost $9 but it is large and filled so it is reasonable. I also got a butterscotch latte which was alright. Ambience of the place is nice, and not sure if it was just my devices but the wi-fi took a long time to connect to for all of my phone, iPad, and laptop.
AMAZING!!!!! One of the best coffee shops in Boston. Great coffee, great food, awesome style and welcoming staff. Highly highly recommended.
This place is SO COOL! It takes the vibe Starbucks was going for, but executes it’s SO much better, phenomenally. The decor is fascinating & the coffee is delicious. I would go out of my way to get coffee here. Pastries looked great too, will try next time
