Today was our first visit. I enjoyed the friendly smiling service. The atmosphere is relaxing and fresh. I'd love to make this a weekly stop.

I was formerly a huge fan of this place. Unfortunately, because of a not-so-great review my friend gave them, I witnessed the female manager interrupt this person's purchase and state "we can't seem to make you happy", essentially making it very uncomfortable for him to patronize this business. This was in front of a bunch of customers - at the same time, she stated she wanted to create a "positive and safe environment". She did this because of the review - and it was humiliating, inexcusable and inexplicable - off the wall reaction. Before this, we were regular customers, great tippers, and big promoters of this place. Not now...

The vegan pastries that we chose were excellent. Cherry galette, everything croissant, hand pies and coffee were fresh, flavorful and delicious. The customer service was wonderful as well! Thank you!

I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem in Savage Mill - it's located at the bottom of the mill underneath a building on the side. There's a stairwell that looks like it heads to a tiny parking lot, but they are the only business down there. They have the main coffee shop and the room next to it, which has comfortable seating and Tekken! When was the last time I played Tekken! Great space for hanging out and catching up with friends. Coffee is fantastic - I'm an Americano drinker myself, so the freshly ground beans really shine. Plus, the owners can tell you all about the beans history. I didn't think I would nerd out on coffee, but I'm glad I did. Staff is definitely knowledgeable and friendly. The shop is vegan, but that isn't a detriment. The baked goods were delicious; do yourself a favor, if they have them, get a chocolate croissant. Try it with a Lavender Latte and you won't be disappointed. Not only is it dog-friendly, but they encourage bringing your four-pawed friends. Definitely coming back with my furry friends next time.

Awesome vegan coffee shop owned by two awesome vegans. They roast their own fair trade small batch coffee on site and make a delicious oat milk lavender latte, as well as various snacks and pastries. I’m not even vegan and I come here because everything is delicious. Nice place to hang out with friends with good ambiance and music low enough in the background that you can hear it and the people you are talking to. Patio is very dog friendly.

Great new addition to the otherwise lackluster coffee scene in HoCo. I've always thought that Savage Mill would be the perfect setting for a coffee shop/roastery and these guys nailed it! The coffee beans and beverages are great -- as are the locally sourced pastries. Service when I went was somewhat slow -- 20ish minutes for a few coffees and breakfast items but it wasn't the biggest deal. Excited to go back and try more. There is a seating area that's detached from the shop, to the right. The outdoors area is a great spot to explore on a nice day.

I had a bad experience at Brewing Good Coffee Company. Although the coffee was great, the barista was rude to my friends when they asked for creamer in a vegan store. He could have easily accommodated their request with vegan milk instead he choose to be rude. I will not be returning to this coffee shop and recommend going to Roggenart European Bakery & Bistro instead, which offers decent coffee and delicious baked goods, along with friendly and welcoming staff.

Awkward space, limited parking, hand full of baked goods to purchase and 16 ounce maximum sized lattes etc. I guess if you're vegan living walking distance this is an oasis, but if you have a car and no dietary restrictions, I'm not sure why you'd visit.

I adore Brewing Good and I generally visit twice a week. It's exciting to have such a great vegan business nearby. The staff is friendly and they've made an effort to get to know me. They know my usual order and will sometimes start making the espresso as soon as I walk in. If you don't specify a type of milk for your beverage, you will receive oat milk by default. I tend to order my latte with soy milk. They use unsweetened soy milk, so if you want a sweeter drink like what you get at certain chain coffee shops, you can ask them to add sweetener. There are sweets available for purchase every day. They will offer anything from brownies to muffins to canolis. Donuts are usually only available on weekends. Most of the sweets are from vegan bakeries like Donut Run and Vegan Treats, but some are made in house. My favorites are the donuts and the gluten-free brownies, which you would never guess were gluten-free. I had the most amazing apple cider donut when they were in season last fall. Hands down the best donut I've ever eaten.

Awesome coffee shop find for a small roastie that is also vegan. I would recommend you stop by and take a walk around the surrounding shops or go on a short hike along the river.

Everything about this place makes me feel good about giving them my hard earned money. The owners: fantastic. The mission: A+ ethical. The food/drinks: phenomenal. The location: uniquely quaint. I regularly dream about the hot, melty breakfast sandwiches. And it’s an extra bonus that we can ride our bikes there on good weather days - it’s the ultimate Sunday date day.

What a treasure! We are vegetarian and one of us has a gluten sensitivity, so this was a great place to try! We got the potato samosa turnover, the breakfast scramble turnover, and pumpkin coffee cake. All were vegan and delicious! We also had the pumpkin spice latte, the butterscotch latte, and ruby fog. The drinks for perfect, they were not overly sweet. They also have an indoor seating area, that we did not notice before, that is great for the colder months!
