I cannot say enough good things about this cafe. The only downside is that it is 40mins away from where I live, but that won't stop me from visiting! The atmosphere is open yet cozy and inviting. I went on a Tuesday morning and the place was busy (always a good sign!), but I didn't have to wait long to order or receive my food. All of the staff I interacted with were pleasant with welcoming smiles and helpful demeanors. My brother and I both ordered the Big Rise Breakfast Sandwich on Everything Bagel. It's huge, so make sure you are hungry. Personally, I could do without the cream cheese since there is so much on the sandwich anyway but that is personal preference. I loved the combo of extra cheese and bacon with a healthy amount of spinach to make me feel slightly less like a glutton when I polished off the whole thing. On my way out I purchased the last two chocolate croissants to-go and enjoyed one as an afternoon snack. Hands down it was the best chocolate croissant I've ever had. Buttery and rich with a lot of chocolate. Run, do not walk, to Rise N Grind!! But save me a chocolate croissant, will ya?
My sister brought me here for coffee yesterday. I loved it!!! Great service. Lattes are delicious and a huge selection!! Atmosphere is warm and inviting. Baked goods are fresh and delicious. Don't forget to check out the little shop in the back!!! Definitely plan to visit again soon.
We love it here! We go out of our way from Havre de Grace to enjoy their drinks and breakfast on the weekend. Have never been disappointed.
My husband and I love this coffee shop! Probably the best one we have ever been to. I'm not a coffee drinker but I love their steamers! He goes for their red bull infusions. If you're in the area, definitely make a trip to Rise 'n grind.
Amazing coffee and Bagels! We tried Irish cream latte and hot mocha with Jalapeño bagel. Bagel was the yummiest one I have ever had.
Great local coffee shop. It’s adorable inside and everyone is always friendly and welcoming.
Stopped in for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Some times it's a little intimidating going into new coffee shops but they were so friendly behind the counter. And the little gift shop is so cute. 10/10 will be returning!
We went here for breakfast. It was crowded but moving. The food and pastries are the stars at this cute little shop. The coffee was a little too strong for me (I order quad expresso drinks at Starbucks). I think the drinks could be improved on a little bit. We ordered a white mocha expresso drink (hot) and a Chai (cold). The mocha just didn't have a lot of flavor other than the coffee, and the Chai tasted like a cinnamon milkshake. And yet...they still deserve 5 stars. The food was off the hook. We ordered a mini strawberry pastry pie, a cheese dsnish with chunks of apple in the middle, and asiago bagels with sausage, egg, and cheese. We ate every bite. We couldn't stop eating any of it. This was a wonderful breakfast and I highly recommend this cute place next time you are in North East, MD.
I waited until I went to Rise n Grind 4 or 5 different times before sharing my review. EVERY time was quite simply, PERFECT! Friendly service, great food and coffee, clean and comfortable setting. So happy this place is close to home.
Awesome little coffee/pastry shop! I ordered the cannoli latte and it was simply amazing, it even had bits of cannoli in it :) This place is about 30 mins from where I live, but I would certainly make the trip to get some nice decent coffee ☕️

Really cozy setting with lots of people visiting this cafe in the morning. All the workers were happy and excellent at being servers. Food and coffee tasted great!

Great hometown find on Granville st. for serious coffee lovers. Windsor NC is home and it’s small town lovely. Rise ‘N Grind is a game changer. It will become the first stop after the long trip in and the last stop on the way out. The coffee is worth the new ritual and the service and love felt while ordering tops the foam of the cappuccino!!!! Thanks Rise ‘N Grind crew! I must get a T-shirt when I return.
First time visit to rise n grind cafe and it won’t be our last! Loved the cozy atmosphere and the delicious & inviting smells that greeted you as soon as you walked in. Pumpkin spice latte’s were perfect… Just the right amount of everything. The Big Rise Breakfast sandwich and chicken salad on Asiago bagel were filling & delicious. Chatted with the owner and we were treated to a yummy apple cider donut (made in house). Everything was super!! Sent from my iPhone
