Out of towners here...this is a gem of a place. The staff was so nice and the menu options are good. Omelet was good BUT...kudos to the kitchen staff on the cheesy grits...oh my heavens!!! Sooo good and creamy.

This is a fantastic breakfast spot! The food is always on point and it’s not your run of the mill offerings. There is a wide variety of offerings. My go-to is always a croissant with sausage, egg and cheese with a side of potatoes.

I will not be going here any more. I've been a handful of times and like the Greek burger. It was ridiculously small this time. Politely expressing my dissatisfaction got me nowhere. Update: I have edited my review to go from 2 stars to 5 after the owner reached out to me. He took full responsibility, made steps to take care of the issues on his end, and gave me my money back and a gift card for a future lunch. All we can do is our best, and I give the owner full credit for being honest and doing what he could to make things right.

Food and coffee were good, and the people working there were friendly. My friend and I decided to stop in for brunch on a Sunday. They were pretty busy. We were able to order fairly quickly, but had to wait a while for the food to come out. The atmosphere is very pleasant. We both had an omelet with the home fries. We split an order of the French Donuts which were freshly made and not too sweet, but they're rather dense. There are lots of choices on the menu, so I'll definitely go back and try some other items. It's nice to have options that aren't chain restaurants.

Great little business with friendly, competent staff. The way it works is you grab a menu, seat yourself, then when you’re ready you order and pay at the bar. They’ll give you a number and bring your food to your table. We went on a Saturday morning (party of two) and it was pretty busy, but we still managed to find a table. They offer a gluten free bread option and a make your own omelette. The coffee seemed a little pricey at first ($5/cup), but when I asked a waitress about it she told me they get it locally from Chesapeake Bay Coffee company in Silver Spring, MD. So the big takeaway is everything about this place is supportive of local businesses. Their coffee mugs are local schools and businesses. They sell local coffee. They have local business cards when you walk through the front door. It’s a great little vibe in here. Highly recommend.

This is a "go-to" spot when in Prince Frederick. Actually, I love to meet with employees and clients here as well! The food is delicious, home-cooking, at it's best!

Just finished having breakfast here with my husband, parents and grandmother and we were all blown away! The portions are huge and the prices are great. My sausage, mushroom and swiss omelette was fantastic and they definitely didn't skimp on the filling and the home fries were perfectly seasoned. My husbands chicken biscuit was juicy and crispy. Everyone's food was packed with flavor and we left happy and full. I'm also sure I'm going to have dreams about the apple spice muffin! My husband and I were visiting from NC for the holiday but we'll definitely be back next time we're in Calvert!

Very odd business model. You sit down at a table (sign says “Seat yourself”), but no one comes; you have to go to the bar to place an order. Then when you pay at the bar, you are prompted to include a tip - even though you have yet to get anything. Employees all huddle behind the bar. Food was OK. Toast wasn’t toasted - well maybe for 5 seconds. Coffee was good. Don’t know that I’d consider returning.
