The Bakist is a scrumptious gem right in the heart of North Beach,MD Everything from their bagels, sandwiches, croissants, cupcakes and other treats are all made with love and made in their shop. My husband and I stumbled upon the Bakist as we were exploring North Beach for the day…we will be making regular trips to NB just to grab goodies from the Bakist!

The breakfast sandwich was delicious! The service was friendly. The pastry options were overwhelming in the best way.

Great spot for coffees and breakfast. Loved the lavender brown sugar flavor in my latte, and my husband was a big fan of the breakfast wrap and egg & cheddar sandwich. I liked the quiche lorraine and vegetable quiche, as well as the birthday cookie! Nice collection of tshirts, cards, coffee mugs, stickers and other cute knick knacks of you're looking for a little gift to take home.

Small coffee shop with baked goods, some food items, and coffee drinks. A nice spot to stop in after a stroll on the boardwalk in North Beach.

We stayed in Chesapeake Beach 4 days, and stopped here every day. They make coffee drinks here and if course have baked goods. Try one of the breakfast sandwiches, probably the best you will get on the go. Also, the raspberry cinnamon roll, or strawberry danish both of which are excellent. Pick up one of the very large cookies for later, they are delicious.

Finally stopped by today because I love supporting local businesses when I can. Ordered a dirty chai latte, the spinach and tomato breakfast sandwich, and a couple of baked goods to take home. Everything was served up quickly and tasted AMAZING! Will definitely be back. The current space is an adorable little shop but can feel a little cramped when several people are waiting for orders. Cannot wait to see the new location when it opens. Will for sure be back!

We had our nana’s birthday cake made here and it was one of the very best cakes we have ever had. From the first phone call to order the cake, to picking it up, and then finally tasting it, we had the best experience. The baker was so nice and helpful. The price was so reasonable. The staff were accommodating and answered all my questions. Thank you so much for making our experience so enjoyable! I would highly recommend this bakery to anyone.

This place is dangerous!! Can't get anything sweet here, you will get more I promise. Too good if you're not watching your diet. If you are, stich to chai...Definitely a cheat day spot.

Pro: Nice Atmosphere. Friendly staff. Timely service. Interesting food. The store has a sense of community. -3 stars for Pros- Cons: Prices. I did not see the cost of the merch posted, listed, or attached to items, on the menu bboard, or detailed on our emailed receipt. How much were the T-shirt and wooden postcards? I still don't know but I am certain they were very-very expensive. Cool wooden postcards! Receipts. I asked for, but was unable to get a paper receipt from the clerk at the counter. She was, however, able to pull one for the storefront and keep it. The clerk informed me the store was saving paper. Tips. Red Flag - I am old school. Requesting gratuity b4 delivering service is backward - even covertly by blaming the technology, and then, asking me to finish the checkout order on the screen and the tip amount pops up - convenient, but tacky. The process embarrasses customers and staff. BTW, is the staff being compensated adequately; and, what is the storefront's policy for distributing tips among them?

Breakfast sandwich gave me heartburn. No place to sit, and no public bathrooms. I won't be a repeat customer.

This place was awful. The vanilla latte was disgusting and the brownie flavorless. Almost 11 dollars we spent on these 2 items. The latte was so bad we tossed it in the trash and the brownie was more like chewing on cardboard then chocolate. I would definitely recommend making your own coffee then going here. Definitely a tourist location. Overpriced and terrible food. Not a joke. Seems the owner takes their reviews as seriously as the products produced. I'll never go back there. Too bad.

Very crowded but worth the wait!!! Breakfast sandwich and wraps are amazing! Baked goods (maple apple roll specifically) all made fresh same day. Good prices, cute atmosphere! Oat milk cappuccino was soooo good! Only thing is…. They need a bigger space !!!

Great sweet bakery items and wonderful lattes. Try the quiche and breakfast sandwiches! If you have time, get the latte to go and walk the boardwalk at North Beach, even in the winter it's a beautiful morning walk. Update: They've expanded their sweet bakery items, as well as their trinkets. If you're looking for some eclectic gifts, you can grab a coffee and browse their trinkets.
