Great little café! Don't let the fact that it's attached to a gas station deter you. Sandwiches were yummy, fries fresh & crisp, & the potato salad ROCKED! They have gluten free options!!!!! The dog friendly courtyard is cute & there are a variety of seating options. It's far enough off the freeway that there's not a lot of noise, & the fence protects from the comings & finds of gas station traffic. Desserts like incredible, but we didn't try them (seemed a bit pricy). Overall, exactly what we needed. Skip BuddyLou's & come here instead.

Definitely worth a stop for a bite to eat, food quality and service much greater than anything near by. Surprising for what appears to merely be a gas station. Highly recommend the reuben, it is the best I've ever had. The Surf and Turf burger is incredibly tasty, well worth the cost. The pies and other deserts appear to be too pricey at first glance, but they're worth it. Fresh and flavorful.

We stopped at the gas station to use the bathroom and discovered a great little store. The cafe was closed, but we bought a delicious slice of caramel apple cheesecake from the case. Next time we're driving through this way, we'll make a point of stopping again.

This place was the best, it was a travel day for my wife and I, so it was amazing when we found a place to sit and have some hot breakfast and coffee. But it was so much more then a breakfast stop. It was like a full rest stop for us. Got to use the restrooms along with getting some small things from the convenience store and of course topped off the fuel tank before we got back on our journey. Great easy stop with friendly people. And my 20 foot rv fit in the parking lot with out a problem. If I find myself through that way again I’ll definitely stop in.

Stopped here for gas and spent a half hour looking at all of the great home made desserts (They have an ice cream am parlor!!!), bread, and actual lunch menu of pizza, burgers, wraps, sandwiches, and more! This is a must stop!

Just purchased the Friday fisherman's special platter. Food was not up to the usual Oak Barrel quality. Items were overcooked and tasteless. Didn't finish our meals. Disappointed!

We use to love this spot on our trip west on I-68. We always stopped for their desserts. We were surprised to see how much of a price jump there was since our last visit in November 2022.

Such a cute and low key place. It was a great lunch and restroom stop for our family with two little kids. You can order at the deli for freshly made sandwiches and also here are grab and go sandwiches and pasta salads and big pieces of cheesecake and cakes and ice cream. There's a few rows of foods and soaps and snacks and drinks. There's some cute displays of moonshine, hot sauce, candy display, and handmade soaps and trinkets. There's a ice cream soft serve bar with a banana split and an indoor and outdoor seating area. Restrooms are nice but do not have a handicap stall. I didn't see a family style restroom that would work for a wheelchair so they may consider adapting a restroom for people using wheelchairs to be able to use. Definitely a cute and delicious spot to stop! We will come again if we road trip past.

Wow, what a great little spot to stop when traveling on 68. You can zip in and zip out easily. Much easier than sheetz in lavalle. Get gas, bathroom and the best part the little cafe makes home made treats and sandwiches on home made bread. These sandwiches are made custom order and are fresh and fantastic with great ingredients. And they have brownies that are perhaps the best brownies I've ever eaten. Really nice people work there. Clean and efficient.

You think it's just a gas station. Go in. You will be thankful you did. The food is great and prepared fresh. Indoor and outdoor dining areas. Don't forget to grab a huge piece of dessert. I recommend any of the cheesecakes personally. There are some fun nostalgic things in the back. They even sell alcohol to go and some fun gifts.
