The workers are really rude. First of all they messed my boyfriend’s order and gave him a small instead of a large. Then they replaced it, and out of politeness my boyfriend asked if they wanted the small one back because he knew he would not be able to finish both his coffees and the drink would just go to waste. After he left, the two workers (not the cashier) were mocking him and making fun of him because he asked a “stupid” question of returning the wrong drink. They didn’t realize I was standing right there and could listen to what they were saying. I was offended and I really don’t plan on going back there because it is disrespectful.

Coffee tastes like garbage. Pretty chill spot to come and get some work done. Doesn't take 30 minutes to fill up a cup of coffee like the one in Hyattsville.

Staff is all smiles and the coffee is exquisite. Wish I bought more coffee beans to bring back home.

Bagel was awesome. It wasn't one of those bagels where you feel like now you have to take a seat and a break. It was refreshing and not too heavy. Coffee was really good. (I'm basic, I got an iced latte)

I was staying in the area and decided to grab a coffee since I was up early. I got in just after 7. One other customer in the store. Parking lot was empty. Service was prompt, no chit chat. I didn't care for the coffee so I rated it 3 stars.

Imagine your car got towed one day after being a loyal customer for three years. NO truly community-focused establishment would collaborate with a degenerate tow company.

Nice atmosphère. Very poor customer service. There was no line. We stood at the counter not 3 feet away from employees. Not one of the 3 people behind the counter bothered to greet us or even make eye contact. After several minutes we left. Very ill-mannered young people.

Coffee roasters selling Coffee... can't beat that combination. Add fresh baked goods, and you've got a winner for morning latte and croissants. Friendjy service.

Cute spot, expensive, but high quality coffee with BIG flavor. If you’re able to get to the Hyatsville location it’s a little more spacious and better for long studying. The tables here are quite cramped and it feels like you need to shuttle in and out

Really good food, but they serve drinks that need bottle openers

I must admit that the first couple of times I purchased coffee at Vigilante, I left with a bad taste for the place. Overall the coffee was good. Many of my friends say they don't like it, but I love a super strong cup, and this place makes a solid cup of powerful joe. So I was sour on the "attitude" I received from the staff (clearly I was neither young enough nor hip enough) and figured I'd not be back. Then I needed to prepare a proposal on a drab and rainy day. So I walked to the shop and purchased an Americano and sat down at a table with my tablet. Four hours and two Americanos later, my opinion of the place had softened. The buzz of the other patrons working was great, and the music being played was an eclectic mix of "curated" rock era songs. Very impressive. When I asked the staff who selected the music, I was told "usually it's the bartender" (not "barista"), which was delivered with a strong dose of smug disdain for my "uncool" question. Somehow I enjoyed it all thoroughly and will patronize this establishment again next time I need to get down to some writing and be powered with a strong good coffee served with a healthy dose of hipster attitude. Peace Out ✌️

Matcha with honey is goated. Parking is always full though so be careful, but worth it!

The College Park location is smaller than the Hyattsville original but there is essentially no parking in the designated lot. Park in the paid parking behind, never across the street due to strict towing there. The staff here is so nice and respectful. Despite loving the space of the Hyattsville location more I have come to prefer this location because the volume of the music is more reasonable for a conversation and the staff is more hospitable. Also the College Park location consistently serves FOR HERE items in mugs, glasses and plates. Hyattsville not so much.

Service was inviting and very friendly didn’t care much for the final product. I tried 2 of their coffees, 1 hot and 1 cold and neither were up my alley. Adorable and hip with very cute merch though!

This coffee shop is very cute and the chai latte is delicious! There is not a lot of places to sit and it gets a lot of traffic from the university so don't come expecting a table to be open.
