The staff here are absolutely wonderful. They were so friendly, allowed me to sit on the patio with my dogs, and were very hospitable. Definitely coming here again next time I pass by. Highly recommend :)

Very pretentious and overpriced. The avacado "toast" was just bread, the bagel sandwich was very small and expensive and was reheated in a microwave! The sandwich was bland and the egg was rubbery. Also the bagel was not toasted. Very friendly service, cute atmosphere, but I think I think this is for rich out of staters on vacation.

I love the curated selection of little things here. Mugs, tea towels, books… and I love stopping. The drinks aren’t 100% but the atmosphere makes it worth it anyway. I had an odd experience, however, that makes me uneasy. I purchased a few kids books, tea towels, and napkins in addition to breakfast and coffees. At the time, no one else was there and we sat out back, and we even chatted with the owner for a bit. When we left, I forgot the bag of the items I had just purchased. I called the store, I emailed - nothing. Stopped in on the way home two days later, and they didn’t know what I was talking about but the owner wasn’t there. They didn’t apologize, and all of the items were back out for sale. A few of the things were very specific handmade pieces, so I know they weren’t just “restocked”. I continued to contact them but no one ever got back to me and I wasn’t refunded. I know, my own fault for sure , but for me it’s the fact that everything was put back out on the shelves!

A definite STOP!! We ordered the mushroom n Chèvre and the The Gertie, Matcha Latte and Tea. Good prices, absolutely delicious, quaint store. We’re visiting from Florida and will definitely be back!!

My husband and I we're on our way back to FL driving from Acadia and we pulled into this coffee bar. I am a coffee enthusiasts, I have to say this was our favorite coffee spot we have ever been to and that's saying alot for how much we travel. The outside is absolutely gorgeous, the bathroom is extremely clean, the inside is so cozy and welcoming. The owner is extremely nice and makes amazing coffee!!! Cute things to purchase through out the market as well! We were saying how we wish we lived in Maine just for this coffee bar.

This place was the best! The barista knew what they were doing. Coffee was strong/smooth with just the right amount of sweetness. There were delicious cookies/pastries available. There was also a small but well curated gift shop. You gotta stop by here. You won’t regret it!

Amazing people and top notch coffee - not to mention that they had GF and DF options. What a find! We even got cool gifts for folks back home at the shop. Thanks again!

Pinnacle espresso beverages. My scone was tender and delicious. The low windows with dark green trim and forest view are lovely. The outdoor area is very special.

A very sweet place to grab a coffee and muffin right off of Route 1. There’s a peaceful seating area behind in the forest for a contemplative snack. They also sell a small selection of local foods and crafts, including a few things for kids.

I stopped in for a quick coffee, not expecting to much. I assumed it was a regular coffee shop. Much to my surprise I was greeted with outstanding customer service and a delicious tasting coffee! I would recommend to anyone passing by, stop in for a smile and a coffee.

Nice little Cafe with great coffee drinks and smoothies. Try the barrel aged cold brew. Aged in old bourbon barrels, it has a nice smoky flavor. Very nice patio area out back.

We went here for coffees. Came out with a pesto egg sandwich with pesto tomato mozzarella and everything bagel and a matcha latte. Both were fabulous! We ate and drank on the back patio and the flowers and tables were delightful. Recommend Birches!

This shop has a great selection of food and drink, as well as lots of great gifts. My complaint is with the service. I've stopped in several times and every time staff has ignored me entirely or been very short with me, acting like they want me out asap. I keep trying every once in awhile because they really do have a great selection of unique things and I love supporting local businesses. But after being treated rudely for the fifth time, I'll go elsewhere.
