By far the best ice cream and gelato this side of the Mississippi, Eric and Karl have gone out of there way to deliver only the best. Great atmosphere, fantastic treats- family and even pet friendly!!
Mostly non ice cream treats when I visited but uncomfortably expensive. Unlikely to return.

Wonderful stop on the way back to Stonington from Acacia National Park. I had some of the best peanut butter ice cream and my wife lived the coffee Gelato. Great service and nice seating both inside and out.
I am a 100% professional ice cream critic and have to say.. This shop RE DEFINES quality ice cream. This ain’t no mid grade giffords peddling shop. Everything is made in house and INCREDIBLE tasting. Waffle cones were heavenly, ice cream was freaking delicious, and the pug theme was amazing. All around a life changing experience that makes it hard to eat at any other ice cream shop. 10/10 would live here and eat ice cream for the rest of my life if I could.
If you are driving through Ellsworth, then take the 10 mins drive from main st to this ice cream shop. Everything from the ice cream, waffle cones and hot fudge is made fresh and on the premises and it is all SO DELICIOUS. Definitely worth the stop especially when so many other places just serve Giffords. Love you pugnuts!
Fun place with delicious but not crazy ice cream. They really leaned into the pug theme.
They have a really great Wild Maine Blueberry sherbet, and I enjoyed the maple latte as well.

Awesome and unique ice cream and frozen yogurt selection. Fresh made waffle cones regular and gluten free. Sit inside in the a/c or grab a cone and walk down to the shore.
Delicious!! Chocolate sorbet, salted caramel, and mint ice cream were out of this world!
The gelatos are just phenomenal. Perfect balance between sweet and tart. Creamy and smooth. A must stop if you are in diwneast Maine

Whoa, the other reviews aren’t lying. Some of the best ice cream I’ve had. Met a couple visiting Bar Harbor who said they read about this place and went and were not disappointed. Also my waiter at a local restaurant told me it’s his favorite spot in the area. Decided to try it with the fam and wow. I went with the Rum Raisin and it was delicious. Probably not a wrong choice to go with. 🍨🍦
Got a small and medium cup of ice cream for $12+ which was a sticker shock for us being on limited funds. Hubby loved his mint chocolate chip, but I was disappointed in the rum raisin. The rum flavoring was not consistent and I often had mouthfuls of no flavor. Bring your own spoon if you hate wooden ones which I do.
It’s a cliche at this point but - literally the best I’ve cream I’m ever had. Their Espresso is revitalizing and the place is such good vibes and I always visit as many times as I can when I’m in the area
Maybe the best ice cream we've ever had. It was such a nice surprise to find this spot. We had Oak Bourbon (the best honestly), strawberry and cream, blackberry and raspberry, and cotton candy - all the adults and kids in the house approved of it thoroughly!
Well worth coming here. Excellent produts. I really like the Gelato. Fresh waffle cones. Pleasant and quick service. Also boxed product to take home!
Best ice cream shop! Impossibly good ice cream and gelato. The two young women on duty at the time we were there were doing a great job, often facing long lines of 10-20 people. They kept up a smooth, constant pace, serving everyone quickly without losing any of the personal touch.
This was such cute shop!! The atmosphere was amazing and the staff was fanominal!! So pleasant and quick! Oh, and the ice cream? Well that was so good, I'm looking forward to going back again for another flavor!!! Highly recommend!!!
