Delicious baked goods and coffee. Prices seem a bit high (but quality is high too).

Everything is very pleasing to the eye and the chicken salad was the best we’ve ever had! Great spot to stop at before going to the Asticou Azalea Garden.

Awesome espresso drinks, amazing baked goods, fantastic specialty foods. The Salt Market is not only a beautiful gem of a shop, it's also part training program, part staff/faculty residence for the College of the Atlantic.

Well decorated storefront with plenty of delicious cafe choices. Happened upon The Salt Market while exploring the island during a visit. The quality of the pastries was phenomenal, as was the selection of espresso drinks available. Highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to pick up some quick snacks and coffee.

Cozy little coffee shop on a beautiful northeast side of the island. We stayed at Kimball Terrace Inn and there are not many coffee shop close by. This seems to be the only one. There are specialty coffee and other products. I had a latte with pistachio milk. Surprisingly it was better than almond milk. The owner is very friendly. Check it out if you are in this little town.

Me and my boyfriend stumbled upon the salt market and we’re so glad we did!! The pumpkin muffin we got was to die for and the ambiance was amazing. Maude , the store owner, was a gem and gave us some fantastic recommendations for the remainder of our trip. If you are near you don’t want to miss stopping by this charming little market!! Will be back again and again for the pastries! 💜

We just stubbled across The Salt Market this morning while looking for some breakfast and I'm so glad we did. This little shop is a gem! The pastries are thoughtfully put together and have great flavor profiles. The freshmade biscuit with raspberry jam was delicious and still warm. Then the two scones, one savory and one sweet were delicious. We also picked up some London fogs for the road I loved the variety of takeaway lunch and sweet options for later and would without a heart beat come back. There was also a nice collection of gift options you could pick up. Definitely a great little shop and so glad it was open on Sunday to keep us fueled for the day. Don't pass on this one!!

We had a fabulous brunch here during our recent September stay in NEH. We got the scallion noodles, a prosciutto-cheese sandwich on a challah roll and a raspberry-chocolate chip scone plus two lattes and a steamed milk for my daughter. Every food item was SCRUMPTIOUS and the lattes were very nice. You could easily buy breakfast here and get something from the cold case for a picnic lunch on a hike. They also had local produce for sale (wish we had known that before our grocery run earlier that morning!) plus a gorgeously curated collection of food & gifts. Has a high-end/boutique vibe with a lovely mix of practical homewares (cutting boards, totes) and whimsical comestibles (striped pasta, fancy honey, tinned fish & jarred olives). The owner/chef was behind the counter and was very warm and sweet with my daughter.

Delicious, so great to be able to get a real espresso drink in town. And the almond croissants are to die for.

This spot just opened & I’m so glad it did! It greets you with an amazing vibe when you walk in and the coffee (we ordered a cortado and a London fog) was some of the best we’ve ever had. The scone was amazing too! Definitely make your way to Northeast Harbor for this spot.

The loveliest little one-stop shop for perfect espresso, a freshly prepared small bite + local goodies for either your fridge or a friend! Maude and her team of sweet girls will greet you with a smile and the brightest energy. The café has a small selection of pastries, grab-and-go eats, local veggies + more from the island, and plenty unique artisan treasures displayed along their beautifully shelved walls. It was a pleasure passing by and enjoying my decaf oat milk latte (they let me bring my own vessel) + divinely perfect raspberry tea cake slice (it was still warm!) on the bench outside beside the outdoor plants. Stop by for a charming moment whether you're a local or in town visiting. Best to you all at the Market xx
