Usually I wait until I've tried a few dishes but this place was excellent so I'll make an exception. Feeling uninspired, I ordered the chicken cesar wrap. Well, needless to say, I unveiled a new wave of inspiration from where I never thought possible! Definitely the best take a common and mundane wrap. The dressing was excellent and the blackened chix was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Oh, and their cin roll was excellent as well. Looking forward to a return visit soon.

Good food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. But very expensive for small portions- small wrap with only a few pieces of chicken was $11, and had no chips or anything. Left hungry after spending $15 for a wrap and coffee. Update after owner’s response: I think your response to customers says a lot. It could have been a helpful/ thoughtful response that addressed my comment about portion size, in which case I could have improved the rating. Instead it was sarcastic and not thoughtful. I guess you only respond positively to 5 star reviews. Minus a star.

Absolutely delightful! Wonderful space, kind and helpful staff, delicious baked goods and Carrabassett Coffee. Haven't tried the sammiches yet but they look amazing and fresh. Kids love the cookies, and I had a gingersnap filled cookie that was crazy good. Chocolate rasp whoopie pie and fritter are also big hits! I'm so glad Orange Cat came to Farmington

Love this place! So comfy. Love the plush booth seats, and the chill live guitar playing while we were sipping our coffee. They have homemade hummus and vegan sausages as some vegan/vegetarian options. All of the staff was super friendly and accommodating.

Nice selection of wraps and salad. The Portion size is good. This will be one of our stops for when we are in Farmington.

I love this place. It's very good and fresh. Very LGBTQIA+ friendly. Staff wears masks. The atmosphere is cozy and colorful. The seating is comfortable. It's a small Cafe with outside seating. I love the lights and the plants. They're open 10am-3pm everyday and breakfast ends around 11ish. The "Garden Tuna" is fresh, crunchy, and flavorful. The "Soup of the Day" is always worth it.

Update later in review. Great food (full marks for that) but communication was sadly lacking and they were short staffed. When our food was delivered it wasn't quite right and my daughters taco salad was without the proper ingredients. They were out of some ingredients but didn't inform her of that and substituted a different ingredient. She has a lot of food sensitivities and what they subbed for the proper taco salad ingredient she usually doesn't eat as it sometimes makes her sick. Fortunately she was ok. They also had delivered my veggie burger to another table and the gentleman there had started to eat it but one of the staff stopped him and asked if he had the right sandwich. He then said it didn't look right. She said it was a veggie burger and she'd get the right sandwich. Then my veggie burger was brought out immediately (I know they are supposed to throw away anything that another customer has touched but the timing made me question and the burger looked a little broken up on the bread I had UPDATE: Owner verified it was new, thanks to the owner i may go back). The Chai tea was excellent and is now one of my favorites. Maybe we'll be back though as I didn't feel sure of what either I or my daughter was eating.

This cafe is where you can experience the best of Farmington!! The food is absolutely delicious and well priced considering that most items are homemade or naturally grown/raised. If that alone isn’t enough to draw you in, the atmosphere most surely will. This is hands down the safest place for LGBTQ+ community members in the area. With an almost all-queer staff ready to serve customers of all identities, pride flags and other inclusion-centered decor filling the restaurant, and a bi-weekly Pride Power Hour dedicated to LGBTQ+ people and allies, this cafe celebrates queer joy, love, and life in a very special way. This all being said, the most respectable aspect of this cafe, in my opinion, is the owner. Not only does the owner actively advocate for her LGBTQ+ staff, but she shows appreciation for their bravery as out and proud queer people. For example, rather than expecting the OCC employees to work during Farmington’s first Pride event, she decided to give her staff the weekend off so they could be part of such a significant celebration of their existence. By doing this, the owner showed her staff that their queerness is worth more than just business and profit. Considering we live in a time of rainbow capitalism, this decision grew my respect for this cafe exponentially and it is now one of the only places I eat at in Farmington. OCC, thank you for all you do for this community!

This visit was not so good. My nephew wanted a bacon and egg wrap and was told no because breakfast was "over." However, my niece had a BLT and I had a slice of quiche! Plus we were almost done with our meals when I went up to ask where our drinks were. I won't be hurrying back.

We love the Orange Cat! We frequently get sandwiches there on our way to camp. The gluten free bread is unparalleled. Thanks for opening in Farmington! We used to go once a year at the original location up north but now we go all the time!! So yum! Kathleen and Alan Haberstock (Oakland but camp in Avon)
