Good place to eat and good atmosphere
I love this place. Waiting time is short. Food is good. I never miss a boba drink when I am here.
Good sushi place. The miso is alright.
Best Ramen bowl I've had! Great menu, lot's of choices, with some unique items. Will definitely be coming back!
Oh so good 👍. Of course I forgot to take pictures until after diving in to four different appetizers. That was probably enough for my wife and I, but we had to share a dinner also. Everything was delicious and we can hardly wait to go back and try some more different items. I'll try to remember pictures. So far our favorite appetizer was the "Dinosaur egg". See you really soon 😋
Great service with a wonderful menu. I had the ramen and it was better than I expected.
Everything on the menu is amazing. They are always fast and friendly. The Boba in the bubble tea is always fresh and you can feel that it's still warm. The shoyu Ramen is my absolute favorite.
Really good and consistent with taste. Friendly staff and doesn’t take too too long not too fast either
I had the best poke bowl I've had in a while! The pork gyoza was also delicious! I will definitely be back!
Can get very busy Friday evenings. Slow service when busy, but worth it. I'm obsessed with the Watami Poke Bowl.
Oh my gosh, I recently went to this small Japanese restaurant and it was amazing! The servers were so friendly and the atmosphere was so cozy. I had the Nabeyaki with Udon and it was to awesome. The broth was so flavorful and the udon noodles were cooked perfectly. My mom had the spicy salmon poke bowl and she loved it! The salmon was so fresh and the spice level was perfect. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
The best spring roll I have ever had
If you're looking for a place to satisfy your sushi cravings, look no further than Watami. This restaurant serves some of the best sushi around. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. I especially enjoyed the Pink Lady the spicy tuna roll. I have not tried the ramen but I heard it's amazing! The only downside of Watami is the atmosphere. It's more like a cafeteria than a cozy dining spot. The tables are crowded, the lighting is harsh and the noise level is high. Don't expect any fancy décor or romantic ambiance here. But if you're willing to overlook that, you'll have a great time at Watami. It's worth it for the sushi!
The food was amazing! Make sure to try the Dinosaur Egg, it's worth it. The restaurant has a "unique vibe", like a rusty food truck spaceship from the movie Fifth Element. It's not the prettiest place, but it adds to the experience. You know it's good when you stop trying other places.
My wife loves this place, my first visit. Normally it is easy to get a table and service but they were slammed on a Friday night. That's a good sign of great food. We waited for a table and for our food but the waitress apologized and gave us complimentary edamame to help. My sushi selection was excellent and the smoked salmon roll was delicious. Reasonable price for the obvious freshness and quality.
Great selection and all is fresh. Delivery is quick, always extra hot! Would recommend to all if you love noodles and sushi!
Phenomenal food Beautiful ppl and great customer service always . Very speedy with to go orders and dine in ......love this place
Delicious Ramen, very authentic ramen soup. Best I've had since living in Okinawa in 98-03
My daughter loves sushi and convinced us we should get some tonight so we figured we would order takeout while having a beer at Moderation. Percy (from Moderation) suggested Watami was both closer and better so we got some from here and ate it next door. I hadn't realized they were there before this. Not only does my daughter now have a new favorite sushi place, but my son who is very picky and basically always needs to just eat when we get home any time we eat out not only ate half of one item but was insisting we get more. So I guess next time he gets his own order... (Sushi crazed daughter also loved the drink she got!)
Maybe things have changed since some of the earlier reviews but we were quite disappointed with Watami. Too many fried/cooked things on the menu for a sushi restaurant. We ordered shumai to start and it was deep fried rather than steamed. It was heavy and tasted like old oil. We also had a roll with spicy tuna and tempura shrimp on each end. Once again, the shrimp tasted like old oil. The service was also lacking. The waiter never asked if we wanted more wine, green tea or refilled our water glasses when mine was obviously empty. Granted there were only two people working in a full restaurant. Perhaps people like the price point more than the quality of the food as it is quite reasonably priced.
