Ideal place for quick breakfast. Opens early, which is perfect after sunrise at cadillac mountain. Coffee was delicious and the bagels were divine. Very cute!

Good bagels and good coffee, and the only place right downtown that’s open early in the season. Very pleasant relaxed atmosphere with comfortable outdoor seating. We walked with our toddler from our hotel to Eden every morning we stayed in Bar Harbor!

Small shop that’s good for breakfast. My friends enjoyed the breakfast bagel and croissants. Not a lot of seating available though
We had a large carry out breakfast order that was done on time and the sandwiches were still hot even when we got on the bus. The croissant breakfast sandwiches were perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better quick breakfast. thank you.

There are not enough words to express how amazing A Slice of Eden was to me and for our small elopement ceremony. We had a short timeframe to plan our wedding (3-4 months), and it was nearly impossible to even have a baker respond to my inquiries. The owners had replied within 48-72h to my online inquiry and had no issues accommodating my requests - they even had so many options for sizing, filling, cake, icing. I sent a picture of a previous birch tree cake they did, and the final product was above and beyond what I even imagined. The cake was the hit of our small reception dinner (people were lined up to take pictures). Words can’t say thank you enough to the owners and staff who worked so hard to make this part of our wedding PERFECT!!!
Came by for a breakfast sandwich before my hike. Got a veggie sausage, egg and cheese on everything bagel. Very good bagel and super fresh. Very filling and fueled me for my adventures.
Great place to fuel up for a day in Acadia. We stopped in every day to grab coffee, breakfast and some sandwiches for lunch in the park. Their bread puddings are the best I've ever had. Amazingly creamy, smooth custard base held together by a perfectly moist yet dense body. The cream puff and lemon bar were also incredible. Breakfast sandwiches with homemade bagels and deli sandwiches with homemade ciabatta roubded out the whole experience. On top of all that, the shop itself is super cozy with a dining room full of cool kitchen antiques and artifacts. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone spending time in Bar Harbor or Acadia.
I got the bacon egg and cheese sandwich and the pumpkin chocolate chip Whoopie pie! They were both so good!
We’ve been here for breakfast twice this week (here on vacation). It’s charming! And I so appreciate the vegan options!!! I had a delicious olive bagel both days with vegan cream cheese - and the bagel was outrageously good!!!!! Great Pumpkin Spice Latte as well. Friendly staff, and the customers were kind too, we even had a couple invite us to take half their table when there was nowhere to sit. Highly recommend! 🥯☕️
I actually really like this place but make sure If you charge upwards up $6 for a latte that the person who's actually making the Latte's has proper training in doing so. This Latte did not taste right at all and I don't wanna be a douche and make the person feel bad but constructive criticism is always good. It basically tastes like watered down coffee with foam on top And btw ... who serves lunch sandwiches but closes kitchen at 11? Am I the only one who thinks that's odd?
Grabbed breakfast and pastries. They were fantastic. Love that this place was open early at 6:00 am. The maple Chai is excellent. I'll be back for more.
Drip coffee was cold at 745am; latte was underwhelming. Staff wasn’t inviting. A hard pass…

“Slice of Eden” better known as “ slice of functioning prefrontal cortex”. After ordering your grab and go coffee and snack that literally has zero preparation other than to have it handed over to you, be prepared to wait for EVERY OTHER ORDER in front of you regardless of size or complexity to be fully completed and then handed off to other customers before you will finally receive your own. All the blue haired wackos running the line must be inspired by the socialist dystopia they all desperately seem to want to be a part of. 0 out of 10, won’t coffee and donut again.
