The bagel central is great! Homemade fries potato is also delicious, and there are a lot of different flavor bagel that other restaurants don’t have.

Great atmosphere, great bagels. A local favourite. Big menu with bagels, sandwiches, fresh deli items, fresh pastries, great baked goods. Lots of vegetarian options, some vegan options including a yummy tofu based cream cheese (vegan of course!) Some days have vegan cheesecake as well! Coffee is lacking, weak and not so great. They need better on boarding for the staff, as everytime I go staff has a difficult time inputting information into the registers. But besides those 2 things it's a fantastic place to go for a bite!

Great Cafe. Good food. Nice atmosphere. You really get that "downtown" feel when you come here. Prices are reasonable, too.

Not a true bagel ! It has the consistency of a Hamburg roll. Very disappointed ! If you want a real bagel it should be boiled. The best bagels in the state are at Forage Market in Lewiston. You won’t be disappointed if you go there. Won’t be back to Bagel Central in Bangor. They do not know how to make a real bagel !

Never had a better bagel. Omelets and bagelwiches hit the spot for breakfast. Sandwiches are great for lunch. Home fries are so under rated. Amazing selection of baked goods. First and last stop in Bangor every trip home.

Went for breakfast. I love the vibe snd the small but so very tasty breakfast options. Got some goodies to take home on the way out. This was my first experience but definitely not my last!!

Some of their pastries are not ideal, but had a great canoli today. Ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese, lox, tomato, capers, onion. Bagel was fresh and fantastic. Ok quality salmon. Very happy with my meal overall.

Super delicious and prices are very reasonable. Had the breakfast burrito and cheese danish. Cheese danish was one of the best I’ve had

WOW this place is delicious and the lovely staff at the front were very helpful and welcoming. We ordered a raspberry cheese danish, a breakfast burrito, and some bagels for the road. This is by far the best cheese danish I’ve had the pleasure of eating — light, fluffy, flavorful, and BIG. Will definitely come back to this spot for breakfast/lunch again! Also, the Hungarian spread was fantastic with the everything bagel. Worth every penny.

I've been coming here for almost two decades. Everything is great. Can be very busy at times (like weekends). Casual, quick, good food.
